  • Publication number: 20240147954
Abstract: A sidewall inlet that assists in bringing fresh air into the interior room of a building. The inlet housing provides an opening to the interior room of a building through a rough opening, with the housing having a design to mount flush to the interior sidewall of the room and covering many size variations of rough openings. The housing of the inlet consisting of a frame assembly and a blade assembly that allows the inlet to be constructed to fit various lengths of rough openings and provide the proper air mixture needed in a building. The inlet having a moveable blade is pivotally mounted with a continuous hinge and a seal on the top frame to minimize air leakage when the inlet is closed. The housing is designed in such a way to provide optimal air mixture and to maximize airflow during ventilation.

  • Patent number: 11131478
Abstract: A ceiling inlet unit that assists in bringing air into the interior room of a building. The unit has a housing providing an opening to the attic of the building, the housing having movable blades with brush borders on the ends, pivotally mounted with a continuous hinge in the housing with seals to minimize air leakage when the blades are closed. The housing is designed in such a way to provide optimal air mixing situations through available cross-sectional area at different ventilation stages. The blades are designed to maximize air jet throw during lower ventilation stages, and provide superior total airflow during maximum ventilation stages.

  • Patent number: 10638719
Abstract: The frames of the Inlets have endcaps and profiles that allow an inlet to be made to different lengths to provide an inlet of a size to provide the proper amount of air needed. Each inlet also has fully insulated blades, sides, and center profiles. The components are preferably foam filled with insulation and have an insulated foam insert on the endcaps together with a center pull so that only a single pull line is needed to operate the inlet.
