Abstract: The Versatile Distillation Cell introduces and extends technical resources of the “Flexible Manufacturing Cell” (set of multifunctional integrated machines with flexible, quick interchangeable tools) in distillation systems of mobile, modular, interchangeable columns with internals (trays and others) fitted with variable form and position. Rapid structural change of mobile columns and variable control of liquid-vapour ratio in internals are integrated, enabling quick on site process diversification and adjustment with easy relocation.
