  • Patent number: 10830271
Abstract: A sensor (1) for measuring a tightening force applied on a screw-assembly member (2). The measurement sensor includes a ring and an electronic device comprising a longitudinal support strip having two opposite ends. The support strip is installed on a flat surface of the ring. The electronic device (26) includes a first circuit capable of generating a signal representative of a tightening force applied in a tightening direction on one of the two opposing faces; a second circuit capable of generating a signal representative of the distance of the applied force from the center of the ring in a first direction perpendicular to the tightening direction; and a third circuit capable of generating another signal representative of the distance of the applied force from the center of the ring in a second direction perpendicular to the tightening direction.

  • Patent number: 7441466
Abstract: The invention relates to a weight sensor comprising strain gauges which are deposited in thick films on a support (2). The support is made from an electrically-insulating material which is intended to be applied to a metallic body (1) that is essentially subject to bending. According to the invention, the support (2) comprises a ceramic material which has a Young's modulus E2 that is equal to or less than that E1 of the biased metallic body (1) and which is applied to the latter by means of gluing.

  • Publication number: 20040238236
Abstract: The invention relates to a weighing device comprising a rigid platform (10) which is intended to receive the weight to be measured, a fixed support area (20) and at least one weight sensor (30). One of the ends (60) of said sensor is embedded in the platform (10) while the opposite end (70) thereof is embedded in the fixed support area (20). The weight sensor (30) supports strain gauges (R1, Ri) and comprises a bar that can be deformed, mainly by means of flexion (40) under the effect of the weight applied to said platform. According to the invention, at least one of the embedded ends (60) of the weight sensor (30) is provided with a surface (S) that is intended to be directly fixed by means of adhesion to the rigid platform (10) or to the fixed support area (20).

  • Patent number: 5847329
Abstract: A weight sensor includes a test body in the form of a bar carrying strain gauges, the bar bending due to the effect of the weight to be measured. The bar extends inside a frame, one end of the bar being joined to the frame, its other end being free with respect to the frame and having a bearing surface designed to be subjected to a force in the opposite direction to a reaction force applied to a bearing surface of the frame. The entire sensor is made in one piece in the form of a flat block.
