  • Patent number: 8923373
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed where a Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) circuit is used to transmit data into the photovoltaic network, where the PLC communication is pulling the required transmit energy from the photovoltaic network, where the transmit chain is using the MPPT transistor of the photovoltaic DC Optimizer, where the transmit chain is transmitting data using Standard modulation such as ASK, FSK, S-FSK, BPSK, OFDM, etc. . . . where the transmitted data are passed on to the powerline network by the use of an “Input signal” adaptation stage, where signals summation is performed to create a command signal used to control the transmission of data by providing enough voltage to polarize the Transistor (i.e: MOS FET) used in the powerline path.

  • Patent number: 8699586
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed where a Powerline interface is used to transmit data into the powerline grid network, where the powerline interface is pulling the required transmit energy from the power grid network, where the powerline interface is transmitting data using standard narrow band modulation such as ASK, FSK, S-FSK, where the transmitted data are passed on to the powerline interface by the use of an “Input signal” adapation stage, where an error calculation and a comparison to a “Triangle” signal is performed to create a command signal used to enable the transmission of data by providing enough voltage to polarize the Transistor (i.e: MOS FET) used in the powerline path.

  • Patent number: 8342913
Abstract: The invention relates to an orbital apparatus (20) for machining of a revolution metallic wall, of the type comprising a fixed annular plate (30) coaxially mounted on a universal support and having a peripheral annular electric collector (35) and an annular plate (50) rotationally mobile and coaxially mounted on the fixed annular plate (30). The mobile annular plate (50) carries a set of electrical contacts (55) cooperating with the electrical collector (35), means (60) for rotationally driving the plate (50), means (70) for machining the metallic wall and pneumatic feeder means (80) to apply and maintain the machining means (70) on the metallic wall.

  • Patent number: 7250108
Abstract: A method is provided for measuring the local hydraulic permeability, Lpi, of a sub-group of hollow fibres of a bundle of hollow fibres mounted in a tubular casing. The method comprises a step of placing the casing containing the bundle in a vertical position, the lateral opening of the casing being disposed toward the bottom, and sealing the lower end of the casing. A graduated, calibrated tube is applied in a vertical position over a portion of the upper cut surface of the bundle to form a sealed connection there between. A liquid is passed through the lateral opening of the casing at a defined flow rate, and the time required for the liquid to pass from a first graduation to a second graduation of the tube is measured.

  • Patent number: 6773591
Abstract: The invention relates to a bundle of hollow fibers intended to constitute the membrane of a device for treating blood or plasma by extracorporeal circulation, in which: the hydraulic permeability of the hollow fibers in the bundle is heterogeneous; and the ratio of the highest hydraulic permeability measured on some hollow fibers of the bundle to the lowest hydraulic permeability measured on other hollow fibers in the same bundle is at least about 5. The invention also relates to a method for producing such a bundle, and a device comprising such a bundle.
