  • Patent number: 11872578
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for application of coverage product on a surface using a print head that is mounted on a robot arm, and that is made up of a body equipped with at least one printing nozzle. The method includes a) defining a strip of surface to be coated, b) defining a trajectory for the strip of surface, the trajectory including a succession of reference points, c) removing a strip of surface from an information sheet modelling the surface to be coated, d) restarting at a) until the modelled surface to be coated becomes a null area, e) defining an activation program for each print head nozzle on each trajectory, and f) applying the coverage product by activating each print head nozzle on the different trajectories depending on the orientation of the print head at each reference point, based on the activation program.

  • Patent number: 11794354
Abstract: A method applying a bead of a coating product to a surface by a print head equipped with nozzles, each centered on a central axis, the coating product application moves the print head and the surface relative to each other, by moving the print head along a fixed trajectory relative to the surface without rotating the print head about an axis parallel to the central axes of the nozzles. The method includes selecting certain nozzles for a point of the trajectory based on the trajectory direction at this point, and activating the selected nozzles at this point. The selected nozzles are arranged in a line, or form part of a nozzle group delimited by a line, whose regression line coincides with a line as close as possible to a line perpendicular to the trajectory direction from among lines that can be defined with nozzles of the print head.

  • Patent number: 10413919
Abstract: This electrostatic sprayer of coating products with external load, comprises a bowl rotatable about an axis, a turbine for rotating the bowl around this axis, and a plurality of first electrodes distributed around the axis and each capable of emitting, when the sprayer is operating and is at least partly in the direction on an object to be coated, a first ion flux from a first point. The first points are arranged in a first circle centered on and perpendicular to the axis. The sprayer comprises second electrodes each capable of emitting, when the sprayer is operating and mainly or exclusively in the direction of an edge of the bowl, a second ion flux, of the same sign as the first ion flux, from second points arranged in a second circle centered on and perpendicular to the axis, and having a different radius than the first circle.

  • Patent number: 9901941
Abstract: An electrostatic spray device for spraying a liquid coating product, including a rotating bowl and a device for driving the bowl around a rotational axis, the bowl defining a concave surface for distributing the coating product and an edge which limits an area for the spraying the coating product. The spray device includes an electrode that charges by ionization of drops of the coating product. The electrode is arranged, in relation to the edge and along the rotational axis, opposite the spray area, between the edge and the device for driving the bowl. A second electrode mounted on a stationary body allows the creation of an electrostatic field for transporting drops. A third electrode, which is also mounted on a stationary body, is brought to an intermediate potential between those of the first and second electrodes during the operation of the spray device.
