  • Publication number: 20200018643
Abstract: An autonomous data logger for acquiring and storing sensor data from a sensor. The data logger includes a harvesting device including a power source module. The harvesting device is embedded in a encapsulating layer and includes a receiving area. A sensing device includes a sensor module for acquiring sensor data and is configured to be received in the receiving area of the harvesting device. The receiving area includes a first coupling element and the sensing device includes a second coupling element. The first and second coupling elements are configured to provide attachment structure and electrical connection structure between the sensing device and the harvesting device such that, when the sensing device is received in the receiving area, the sensing device is fixed to the harvesting device and is powered by the power source module.

  • Publication number: 20150171261
Abstract: A transparent conductive oxide (TCO) layer formed using a post-TCO layer deposition process to increase roughness, aspect ratio and/or peak-to-valley heights of the surface topography relative to as-grown surface topography, and systems, apparatuses and methods thereof. A TCO layer is provided or formed with an as-grown surface topography, and processes are performed to the as-grown surface topography to modify the surface topography to increase roughness, aspect ratio, and/or peak-to-valley heights. The increase in roughness, aspect ratio, and/or peak-to-valley heights of surface topography is performed by at least one of increasing the heights of the peaks and increasing the depths of the valleys. The increase in roughness, aspect ratio, and/or peak-to-valley heights of surface topography can be to a desired or predetermined roughness and/or aspect ratio or an amount of increase in aspect ratio.

  • Patent number: 8723020
Abstract: The textured transparent conductive layer according to the invention is deposited on a substrate intended for a photoelectric device and exhibiting a surface morphology formed from a sequence of humps and hollows. It is characterized in that its hollows have a rounded base with a radius of more than 25 nm; the said hollows are virtually smooth, which is to say that, where they exhibit microroughnesses, these microroughnesses have a height on average of less than 5 nm; and its flanks form an angle with the plane of the substrate whose median of the absolute value is between 30° and 75°.

  • Patent number: 8368122
Abstract: A multiple-junction photoelectric device includes a substrate with a first conducting layer thereon, at least two elementary photoelectric devices of p-i-n or p-n configuration, with a second conducting layer thereon, and at least one intermediate layer between two adjacent elementary photoelectric devices. The intermediate layer has, on the incoming light side, opposite top and bottom faces, the top and bottom faces having respectively a surface morphology including inclined elementary surfaces so ?90bottom is smaller than ?90top by at least 3°, preferably 6°, more preferably 10°, and even more preferably 15°; where ?90top is the angle for which 90% of the elementary surfaces of the top face of the intermediate layer have an inclination equal to or less than this angle, and ?90bottom is the angle for which 90% of the elementary surfaces of the bottom face of the intermediate layer have an inclination equal to or less than this angle.

  • Patent number: 6608548
Abstract: The present invention relates to a control device (20) with redundancy for fitting to a lock having a mechanism (21) for locking an unlocking an access door, the device (20) being adapted to manage a change of state of this lock under predetermined conditions and to ensure that this state current is kept current up until the next change of state. This device (20) comprises means (30) for controlling the mechanism (21) and two units (31; 32) for providing like instructions to the control means. This device (20) is characterized in that the first unit (31) has a structure different from that of the second unit (32), while effecting common functions, and in that the control means behave functionally as an AND gate to the inputs of which are applied the instructions from the units respectively, when the device is functioning in a normal situation.

  • Patent number: 6130611
Abstract: The present invention concerns a locking system (31) for an entry door to a security enclosure arranged in an environment. This locking system includes a mechanism (33) able to command, in response to an instruction, the locking or unlocking of the entry door, storage means (43) able to contain reference data (X3) relating to a parameter (X) linked to the environment, and depending on the environment, and a processing unit (37) able to receive the reference data and parameter measurement data (X2) and, in response, to supply the command instruction. This arrangement gives the locking system autonomous control of the development of a parameter and centralised control of the locking and/or unlocking. The storage means (43) can be arranged to give the locking system the faculty of intelligent interpretation of the events and phenomena occuring during its daily operation.
