    Abstract: The invention relates to a system for learning braille, comprising at least one removable element (2) having at least one braille inscription, a main device (1) capable of receiving and identifying the removable element (2), a speaker (S) and an installed unit (5), internal to the main device (1), communicating with a receiver in a housing (7). The system comprises a user identification device (3), independent of said main device (1), which includes a communication module (30) that comprises an identification signal transmitter, a receiver of an update signal for updating user-specific learning level information, and a memory. The installed unit (5) is capable of receiving and processing a user identification signal and is capable of transmitting said update signal in response. A communication module of the identification device communicates with said installed unit using short-range signal-transfer technology.
