  • Publication number: 20230293916
Abstract: A regulator assembly for an aircrew breathing mask is provided The regulator assembly includes a support, a mode selection knob movable between a first position, a second position and a third position, the mode selection knob comprising a base pivotably mounted on the support with respect to an axis of rotation, and a cover supported by the base. The cover can be movable relative to the base between a locked position of the mode selection knob and an unlocked position of the mode selection knob, the locked position locking the rotation of the mode selection knob from the second position to the third position, the unlocked position permitting rotation of the mode selection knob from the second position to the third position.

  • Publication number: 20230041231
Abstract: A control unit for an aircraft crew member's breathing mask, includes a support, a mode-selection knob pivotally mounted on a holder between at least a first position, a second position and a third position. A controller supplies a breathing cavity in three modes of operation depending on the position of the mode-selection knob. A locking/unlocking system includes an operating member moveable between a locking position and an unlocking position. The locking position blocks the rotation of the mode-selection knob from the second position to the third position, and the unlocking position allows rotation of the mode-selection knob from the second position to the third position.

  • Publication number: 20230010959
Abstract: A regulator assembly for an aircrew breathing mask includes a support and a mode selection knob mounted with the ability to pivot on the support. The selection knob is able to pivot between at least a first position, a second position and a third position. The mask further includes regulator designed to supply a breathing cavity at least in three modes of operation according to the position of the mode selection knob. At least one locking/unlocking device locks and unlocks the rotation of the mode selection knob towards the third position. The locking/unlocking device comprising has an operating member that pivots between a position in which the rotation of the mode selection knob is locked, and a position in which the rotation of the mode selection knob is unlocked.

  • Patent number: 9526927
Abstract: A breathing assembly for aircraft comprising a storage unit, a breathing mask and a releasable securing device. The storage unit has a guiding surface extending perpendicularly to an elevation direction and a maintaining element. The breathing mask comprises a rigid support having a sliding surface adapted to slide in contact with the guiding surface of the storage unit, along a sliding direction between a storage position and an exit position. The support further has a maintaining element. In the storage position, the sliding surface of the support is prevented from moving away from the guiding surface of the storage unit along the elevation direction at the distal end by engagement of the maintaining element of the support with the maintaining element of the storage unit.

  • Patent number: 7584753
Abstract: A demand and dilution mask regulator comprising an oxygen feed circuit and a dilution circuit for supplying air. The oxygen feed circuit and the dilution circuit are connected to a mixing chamber (35). In the dilution circuit, the inhaled breathe-in air flow rate is measured through a capillary duct (43) connected to a Venturi construction (41). A method of regulating the flow rate of additional oxygen uses flow rate data measured through the capillary duct (43) for controlling the oxygen flow rate to be supplied to the mixing chamber (35).
