  • Publication number: 20200203962
Abstract: Methods and control devices are described for controlling recharging and discharging a set of batteries, each of the batteries connected to an electrical circuit connecting a power supply source to a consuming device to form a recharging circuit connecting the battery to the power supply source, and a discharging circuit connecting the battery to the consuming device and performing a diode function to avoid a circulation current between the batteries. The method can include at least one of recharging of a first battery of the set, simultaneously with a resting of at least a second battery of the set, the recharging of the first battery being followed by resting of the first battery, or discharging of a first battery of the set, simultaneously with a resting of at least a second battery of the set, the discharging of the first battery being followed by the resting of the first battery.

  • Patent number: 8823188
Abstract: The device includes, in a housing, an actuator electrically connected to a battery for charging a portable item such as a mobile terminal. For a rotating actuator comprising a first member submitted to an oscillatory motion, for example a walker carrying the housing, and a second member making up at least partially a mass part, the mass part is able to oscillate around the axle of the armature with respect to the first member. A servo control system can control the actuator sometimes as a motor supplied by the battery or by allowing the mass part to move freely, sometimes as a generator charging the battery, by slaving the motion speed of the mass part to the acceleration of the oscillatory motion of the first member. This enables to recover as much electric power as possible from the walker.

  • Patent number: 7408272
Abstract: The invention concerns a portable device for electric power supply comprising: connection means (8) for connecting an appliance (1) to be powered; and a power supply circuit (6; 16) supplying in output a supply voltage for the appliance when the circuit is selectively connected to a mains supply or to a low-voltage electric power source. It may also comprise a battery (10). In that case, the circuit (6, 16) can charge the power storage means when the circuit is connected to an appropriate electric power source, the connection means ensuring power supply to the appliance (1) from the power storage means (10).

  • Publication number: 20070003053
Abstract: The invention relates to a system for the remote powering of at least one data-processing device (T) with determined power intensity and voltage operating ranges by means of a medium (8) for communication with a telecommunication network (6). The inventive system comprises an element (2) which transmits an information signal and an electric power signal to the at least one processing device (T), said power signal having a voltage and/or intensity greater than the maximum power intensity and/or voltage of said at least one processing device (T). The system further comprises a converter (18) with wide intensity and/or voltage input ranges, which is designed to receive the aforementioned electric power signal as input and to supply power having a voltage and intensity within the determined operating ranges of the at least one processing device (T, TIP, MHD). The invention also relates to the corresponding connection and conversion device.

  • Publication number: 20050225292
Abstract: The invention concerns a portable charger (10) comprising a connection to an electric source, a plurality of connecting points (14a, 14b,) of rechargeable portable appliances for different usage, and an adapter (16), tapping power supply at the electric source and adapting it to the recharging supply of the rechargeable portable appliances, the adapter (16) including a microprocessor (22) and a multiple output converter delivering voltages and currents adapted to the appliances to be recharged, the adapter adapting the charge power to the portable appliance based on the charge programme delivered by the charger. The invention also concerns a recharge device comprising the portable charger. The invention enables simultaneous recharge of different rechargeable appliances in a manner adapted to each appliance. Thus the user of several rechargeable appliances needs only one charger.
