  • Method and apparatus for removing a crashed aircraft

    Abstract: Crane for lifting and removing aircraft wreckage that is immobilized on a landing strip. Two twin beams are provided bevel-hinged at one of their ends. A gantry including legs which are affixed to the free ends of the beams. The gantry is shaped like an inverted V, with the two legs which are capable of being joined by their upper ends. The feet of the gantry have joints whose pins are parallel to the direction passing through said two feet.
