Abstract: Vehicle hatch comprising at least one lateral post, to which a rear window is attached, the post forming a profile having an open cross section and comprising a first and a second U-shaped cavity that each comprise two walls. The first cavity is oriented towards the median plane of the vehicle and comprises a rear wall and a front wall, and the second cavity is oriented towards the rear of the vehicle and comprises an inside wall and an outside wall. The front wall of the first cavity is arranged so as to be continuous with the outside wall of the second cavity, and the rear wall of the first cavity is separated from the inside wall of the second cavity so as to free up a free space that allows for access to the inner portion of the profile.
