  • Publication number: 20160294834
Abstract: A method for releasing account information to a network device, including: receiving, over a communication network, from a first network device that has installed thereon an application, a first input, wherein the first input includes a request for access to profile specific information associated with a second network device having installed thereon the application, wherein the profile specific information is stored at a cloud computing environment; determining an identification of the first network device to achieve a determined identification; comparing the determined identification to a set of user identities stored at the cloud computing environment; and based on the comparing, if the determined identification matches at least a portion of the set of user identities, then allowing access to the profile specific information.

  • Publication number: 20160294827
Abstract: A method for enabling seamlessly linking multiple network-connected devices to a same user application account, including: receiving, at an application service provider computing environment, over a communication network, and from a first network device having installed thereon an application, an input and a registration request, wherein the input includes profile specific information of a cloud computing environment; accessing at a memory device of the application service provider computer environment and in response to the registration request, stored network device user profile information associated with a second network device having installed thereon the application; comparing, the profile specific information with the network device user profile information; and based on the comparing, if the profile specific information matches a predetermined minimum of information of the network device user profile information, releasing, by the processor, a portion of the network device user profile information to

  • Publication number: 20160294920
Abstract: A method for seamlessly linking multiple network-connected devices to a same application account, including: receiving an instruction to launch an application installed on a first network device, such that profile specific information associated with a second network device is accessible by the first network device, wherein the second network device has installed thereon the application; in response to the receiving the instruction, generating a request for access to the profile specific information stored at the cloud computing environment; transmitting the request to the cloud computing environment; if a determined identification of the first network device matches at least an identity of a set of user identities stored at the cloud computing environment, then receiving profile specific information; generating a registration request; transmitting the profile specific information to the application service provider computing environment; receiving an access authorization message; and accessing the portion of

  • Publication number: 20020124057
Abstract: A unified communications system that promotes communications using an Internet protocol communications platform that receives telephone, fax, e-mail, and documentary information to aggregate that information for access at a single location by any of various devices controlled by a person to whom the communications are directed. The unified communications system employs an IMAP4 message store for e-mail, fax, voice mail, and document files and can access LDAP-compatible databases for user information (e.g., address books). Subscribers to a unified communications service powered by the unified communications system can access messages by telephone; through a standard Web browser; through a wireless device, leveraging WAP to read and reply to messages and SMS for notifications; and, additionally, via Internet phones and other Internet Access Devices (LADs). Users can also store and access files on network databases and folders via the Web browser interface.
