  • Publication number: 20190231994
Abstract: A spacer chamber having a body with a base end; a tip end; a popoid section located between the base end and the tip end; a first aerosol port located on a first side of the body and near the tip end; a second aerosol port located on a second side of the body and near the tip end, the first side is opposite to the second side. Several therapeutic spray agents are simultaneously applied to a patient by the spacer chamber via the each one of the first aerosol port and the second aerosol port.

  • Publication number: 20180015241
Abstract: The present invention refers to a single piece spacer chamber, a base end and a tip end, the base end having a diameter larger than a diameter of the tip end, single piece chamber is made entirely of a flexible material. A medication container is connected to the tip end. The chamber has a truncated cone shape, a plurality of external zigzag popoid folds circumferentially formed through the external side of the chamber, and a plurality of internal folds circumferentially formed through the internal side of the chamber. The popoid folds have a size that decreases from the base end to the tip end. In a collapsed position each popoid folds against an adjacent popoid and fits entirely inside the adjacent popoid.

  • Publication number: 20160045686
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a spacer chamber having a chamber having a truncated cone shaped or two truncated cones joined by their bases. The truncated cones are formed by a series of popoids segments that allow the chamber to keep its shape, both on an extended and a collapsed position, in a spontaneous form, except in the case of an internal pressure is applied which tends to expand it. As is the case of the device used in mechanical ventilation.
