  • Patent number: 10598449
Abstract: A self-rotating tube cleaning nozzle assembly is disclosed that includes at least one debris exclusion feature. The nozzle assembly includes a main body defining an internal fluid passageway, a nozzle mounted to the main body, and a sleeve rotatably disposed about the main body. In one aspect, the sleeve having at least one discharge port in fluid communication with the main body internal fluid passageway for discharging a spray and rotating the sleeve about the main body. The debris exclusion feature is defined between the main body and the sleeve and includes a stepped portion on an exterior surface of the main body that faces and overlaps with a complementarily shaped stepped portion on an interior surface of the sleeve. The debris exclusion feature forms a tortuous pathway that eliminates or reduces contaminant ingress.

  • Patent number: 10502335
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and associated method for a positive retraction bypass valve. The positive retraction bypass valve can include a dump cartridge in a valve body with a valve stem biased to an open position to allow flow through a drain path. An adjuster can advance toward the valve stem and oppose the bias to at least partially close the valve. Upon retraction of the adjuster from the valve body, a retraction rod assembly with a retraction rod coupled to the adjuster and the valve stem can pull the valve stem toward the adjuster if the bias or fluid pressure on the valve stem does not move the valve stem toward the adjuster.

  • Patent number: 9657865
Abstract: A two-stage valve system includes a safety latch configured to at least partially cover an actuation lever, such as a foot pedal, to prevent inadvertent operation of the actuation lever. The safety latch needs to be lifted to a certain level to gain access to the actuation lever in a first stage, and then the actuation lever is operated to actuate a valve assembly in a second stage.

  • Publication number: 20070009367
Abstract: A pump that includes a cylinder housing having a through bore. A cylinder liner is disposed substantially within the through bore and includes a substantially uniform aperture having a first diameter. A plunger includes an engagement portion having a second diameter smaller than the first diameter. The first diameter and the second diameter are sized to define a first diametrical clearance that is less than about 0.1 percent of the second diameter.

  • Patent number: 6712096
Abstract: A high-pressure attenuator or accumulator includes a body defining a pressure chamber therein. An engaging wall of the body extends axially beyond an opening to the pressure chamber and defines a sealing chamber therein. A seal head positioned within the sealing chamber is coupled to the attenuator body using a tensioner assembly coupled to the engaging wall.
