  • Patent number: 6348538
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for preparing a pigmented curable molding compound comprising mixing together an unsaturated polyester resin, a thermoplastic polymer, a color paste and optionally a filler, and is characterized in that the color paste is obtained by dissolving pigment particles in a solution of a thermoplastic polymer in a suitable solvent. The invention further relates to the color paste itself and to homogeneously and uniformly colored moldings obtained thereform.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 16, 1999
Date of Patent: February 19, 2002
    Assignee: DSM N.V.
Inventors: Dieter Buhl, Heinz Fuerst, Harald Schneider
  • Patent number: 6143810
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for preparing a conductive curable moulding compound with reduced electrical surface resistance, comprising mixing together an unsaturated polyester resin, a thermoplastic polymer, a conductive paste and optionally a filler, and is characterized in that the conductive paste is obtained by dispersing conductive pigment particles in a solution of a thermoplastic polymer in a suitable solvent. The invention further relates to the conductive paste itself and to mouldings having reduced surface resistance, obtained therefrom.

  • Patent number: 4396695
Abstract: An electrophotographic recording medium which consists essentially of an electrically conductive base and a photosemiconductive double layer which comprises a first layer containing charge carrier-producing dyes, and a second layer containing one or more compounds which are charge carrier-transporting when exposed to light, wherein the charge carrier-producing dyes are those of the general formula I ##STR1## where R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are each hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, nitro or cyano, R.sup.4 is phenyl, halophenyl, alkylphenyl, nitrophenyl or dialkylaminophenyl, and X is oxygen, sulfur, NH or N-phenyl, and the production of this recording medium.
