Abstract: A cap for fitment to a closure neck of a container, such as a beer keg to cover the dispensing valve therein, said cap having a cover portion and a skirt portion, said skirt portion including a snap-fit means for fitting the cap to said neck, said cover portion including at least one line of weakness and a depressible tab portion, such that upon depression of said tap portion the cover portion is at least partially separated to allow detachment of the cap from the neck portion.

Abstract: A clamp part which is designed as a terminal strip is attached to a support part. A component, designed as a molding, has clamp bodies which can be located in the clamp part. Each clamp body has a rotatable shank which can be clamped in the clamp part in one position and can be withdrawn from the clamp part in another position. By this means, the component can be easily detached.

Abstract: A rotary material removing tool has an elongated support whose rear end portion can receive torque from the motor of a boring or milling machine and whose front end portion has a front end face with a transverse recess for a carrier having in its front end face a transversely extending dovetailed guide groove for two elongated knife holders which are shiftable relative to each other and with reference to the carrier to select the distance between their knives. The support has two legs which flank the recess and bear against the carrier to hold the latter in abutment with the bottom surface in the recess and to deform elongated portions of the carrier into frictional engagement with adjacent portions of the two holders when the free ends of the legs are urged toward each other by a clamping screw.

Abstract: A rotary material removing tool whose holder can be installed in and rotated by a milling or like machine. The front portion of the holder has a transverse slot flanked by two prongs and receiving a portion of a flat cutter which is held in the slot by one or more coupling screws in such a way that its rear surface is urged against the bottom surface in the slot. The coupling screw is received in a bore of one of the prongs and its head extends into a bore of the cutter. The peripheral surface of the head and/or the surface surrounding the corresponding portion of the bore in the cutter is conical, and the two surfaces cooperate to urge the rear surface of the cutter against the bottom surface in the slot when the screw is driven home. To this end, the axis of the bore which receives the shank of the screw is disposed between the axis of the bore in the cutter and the bottom surface in the slot.

Abstract: A rotary material removing tool wherein an elongated rod supports a carrier for two elongated knife holders between two legs which flank the carrier and can be biased toward each other and against the carrier by a clamping screw extending transversely of the guide groove and at right angles to the axis of the rod. Those surfaces of the holders which abut against each other have elongated shallow recesses which surround the respective ends of the corresponding slots and receive a plate-like intercepting member having a centrally located hole for the shank of the clamping screw. The recesses extend to the inner ends of the respective holders and toward the knives which are mounted at the outer ends of such holders. The legs of the support close the outer ends of the slots, and the intercepting member serves to prevent penetration of chips, shavings and/or other foreign matter into those ends of the slots which are provided in the abutting surfaces of the holders.
