  • Patent number: 6698826
Abstract: A roof arrangement is particularly useful in a passenger car with a sliding cover which is provided for closing or partially exposing a roof opening and is linked to a lateral guiding device. The roof arrangement also has an element which can be moved with the cover and has a connection line as well as a line guiding device for the connection line. In order to be able to lay the connection line for the element in a simple manner, a screen which can be moved with the cover and which at least partially covers the lateral guiding device is provided. The connection line is guided on the screen.

  • Patent number: 5954367
Abstract: A fuel tank for vehicles, particularly passenger cars, has a filler neck which, in the area of a connection to the fuel tank, is guided around the upper edge of an adjoining body part or chassis part and penetrates a lateral fuel tank wall, a partial area of the filler neck projecting into the fuel tank interior. So that the maximal filling level of the fuel tank can be lowered under the plane A--A of the adjoining body part or chassis part, and therefore a sufficient expansion volume is ensured, it is provided that the end of the filler neck which projects into the tank interior and a filling ventilation extend below the level A--A defined by the upper edge of the body part or the chassis part, the maximal filling level H being determinable by the highest point of the filling ventilation situated in the tank interior.

  • Patent number: 5687753
Abstract: A fuel tank for vehicles, particularly motor vehicles, is provided with an operational ventilating system which is composed essentially of a vent outlet arranged in the area of an upper fuel tank wall, of an exterior air feeding and air removing pipe connected to the vent outlet, and of an activated-carbon filter connected behind. To prevent liquid fuel particles from entering the activated-carbon filter by way of the vent outlet, particularly during lateral accelerations, a device is disposed inside the fuel tank in front of the vent outlet, which device partitions off the vent outlet with respect to a direct action of liquid fuel particles.
