  • Patent number: 10583390
Abstract: Organosilicon compounds in a process exhaust stream from silicone production are removed by contacting the exhaust stream with a semipermeable silicone membrane which is selectively permeable to organosilicon compounds and oxygen relative to nitrogen. The pressure on the permeate side of the membrane is preferably less than the pressure on the retentate side.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 11, 2016
Date of Patent: March 10, 2020
    Assignee: WACKER CHEMIE AG

  • Patent number: 6293153
Abstract: A device for the metering of fluidizable bulk materials, having a storage tank and a mass-flow-measuring device for the material and a fluidizing device, which is connected to the storage tank via an aperture of adjustable size, and a control valve for controlling the supply of compressed air to the fluidizing device, wherein a pressure gauge is provided downstream of the fluidizing device, in the direction of flow, and the pressure gauge and control valve are connected via a first control circuit, and the supply of compressed air to the fluidizing device is metered by this control circuit in such a manner that a constant, in each case preselectable subatmospheric pressure prevails in the fluidizing device, and the mass-flow-measuring device and the aperture of adjustable size are connected via a second control circuit, and the size of the adjustable aperture is set by this control circuit in such a manner that a defined quantity of bulk material enters the fluidizing device.

  • Patent number: 5937149
Abstract: A system is disclosed for controlling the automated printing plate change process in a printing machine, especially a sheet-fed offset printing machine having one or more printing units, wherein each printing unit includes a device for automatically changing the printing plate. The system allows the printing plate change process to be monitored by an operator from a central work location. According to the invention, a human-machine interface computer evaluates the signals transmitted by the control system in order to gather information which is displayed on a visual display device. The human-machine interface then displays the individual stages or working steps of the printing plate change process in the form of graphical user interface icons. Also displayed are the location and type of fault that occur during the plate change process.

  • Patent number: 5913017
Abstract: A control device for a printing machine is described, in particular a sheet-fed offset press, having a movable operating element and a device which senses the movements thereof, as well as a downstream electronic valuation system. Such already known control devices, which are equipped with a rollerball, joystick or mouse as operating element, are to be improved with regard to ergonomic operability. This is achieved according to the invention by designing the operating element as a wheel mounted capable of rotating about an axis. The movement of this wheel is sensed by an electronic evaluation system, and highlights selectable menu items in accordance with a prescribed sequence on a display device. After the desired menu item has been marked by rotating the wheel forward or backward, the desired function is initiated by actuating a command initiation key.
