    Abstract: Freely suspended climbing apparatus of gymnastic apparatus that can be utilized both indoors and outdoors. The gymnastic apparatus has three triangular shaped elements which are spaced from each other and each of three elements is mounted on three separate ropes. Each of the three triangular elements has three elongated members preferably having a square shaped cross section and made of wood. The members making up each of the triangular shaped elements are mounted so that one end of each of the members is in overlapping contact with only one of the two other members. The other end of each of the members is in underlapping contact with the other of the two members. Thus, each member has one end thereof which is free to move upwards along the rope threaded through an opening in that end.
