  • Publication number: 20210111522
Abstract: A heating apparatus for at least one housing section of a screw extruder comprises at least two heating elements which are connected to contact plugs via connection lines. For the purpose of supplying power, the heating apparatus comprises an electrical supply line which is connected to a plug-in contact distributor. The plug-in contact distributor comprises at least two plug-in contacts. The contact plugs are releasably connected to the plug-in contacts. The heating apparatus renders possible simple exchange of a heating element and is therefore easy to service. The modular construction of the heating apparatus renders possible flexible use.

  • Patent number: 8275580
Abstract: A method for an output of maintenance information of an automation component in an automation arrangement is provided. The automation arrangement includes the automation component, an automation controller and a local control unit which is functionally associated with the automation component. In a first step status information relating to the automation component is formed in the automation controller, in a second step the status information is used by the automation controller to generate or change the maintenance information, and in a third step the maintenance information is transmitted from the automation controller to the control unit and is output there.

  • Patent number: 8135792
Abstract: The invention relates to a system for generating and displaying messages and/or alarms particularly in an automation system of a plant and/or process. The invention further relates to a corresponding method. Using the system and method, messages and/or alarms can easily be displayed differently depending on the state of a production plant or process.

  • Patent number: 7779053
Abstract: The invention relates to a method, a computer program product and an engineering system for creating a diagnostic model of an automation system made up of various automation components. The diagnostic model is generated automatically during the project planning phase of the automation system. Within the diagnostic model the automation components are represented by model nodes. Functional and/or physical relationships between the automation components are mapped by links between the corresponding model nodes within the diagnostic model. Each model node contains status information in which the status of the associated automation component is stored. By evaluating the status information, the status of the automation system can be investigated and monitored with the aid of the diagnostic model.
