  • Patent number: 6090904
Abstract: Compositions and methods of making them are described and claimed which comprise a polymeric material having not less than two groups bonded to silicon which are hydroxyl or hydrolysable groups, a silane cross-linking agent having at least two oximo groups which are reactive with said polymeric material in presence of moisture to release an oxime condensation by-product and a component effective to control emission of volatile oxime compounds from the composition as it cures. The component effective to control emission of volatile oxime compounds from the composition as it cures is preferably an organic isocyanate having at least one isocyanate group and is preferably present in a stoichiometric ratio with the proportion of condensation by-product to be evolved. The polymeric material is preferably according to the general formula X-A-X where A represents a polyoxyalkylene chain or a polydiorganosiloxane chain and X represents a hydroxyl or hydrolysable group selected form --R".sub.2 SiCH, --R"Si(OR.sup.5).

  • Patent number: 5434793
Abstract: The method and apparatus according to the present invention interpolates curves with arbitrary accuracy. The accuracy is predetermined by a scalar value and indicates the maximum deviation (d) of a linearization segment of the curve (K). The maximum deviation (d) in this case is defined as the length of a vertical (d) which results from the intersection of the vertical from the rectilinear interpolation line between the points P1 and P2 of an interval with the curve (K) itself and the rectilinear interpolation line (K.sub.i). The increment width is determined dynamically, that is, the number of interpolating linearizing segments depends on the concrete properties of the curve such as the curve parameters.

  • Patent number: 5295075
Abstract: A method and apparatus for assembling workpieces from base bodies that are easily definable. Corrections for the tool path, i.e. cutter radius correction, are already performed on the base bodies or their 2-D contours, so that upon the assembling of the corrected base bodies to make workpieces, the corrected contours already intersect, thus in a simple way producing the tool path data.
