  • Publication number: 20230376855
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for detecting anomalies on multiple layers of a computer system, such as a compute server. For example, the system can detect anomalies from the lower firmware layer up to the upper application layer of the compute server. The system collects train data from the computer system that is under testing. The train data includes features that affect performance metrics, as defined by a selected benchmark. This train data is used in training machine learning (ML) models. The ML models create a train snapshot corresponding to the selected benchmark. Additionally with every new release, a test snapshot can be created corresponding to the selected benchmark or workload. The system can detect an anomaly based on the train snapshot and the test snapshot. Also, the system can recommend tunings for a best set of features based upon data collected over generations of compute server.

  • Publication number: 20220229707
Abstract: Examples described herein relate to a management node and a method for managing migration of workload resources. The management node may assign a capability tag to each of a plurality of member nodes hosting workload resources. Further, the management node may determine a resource requirement classification of each workload resource of the workload resources based on analysis of runtime performance data of each workload resource. Furthermore, the management node may determine a temporal usage pattern classification of each workload resource. Moreover, the management node may determine a migration plan for a candidate workload resource of the workload resources based on the capability tag of each of the plurality of member nodes, the resource requirement classification and the temporal usage pattern classification of each workload resource.

  • Publication number: 20210365302
Abstract: An Adaptive and Distributed Tuning System (ADTS) includes a distributed framework for full-stack performance tuning of workloads. Given a large search space, the framework leverages domain-specific contextual information, in the form of probabilistic models of the system behavior, to make informed decisions about which configurations to evaluate and, in turn, distribute across multiple nodes to converge rapidly to best possible configurations.

  • Publication number: 20130227939
Abstract: A hydraulic system for a self-propelled agricultural working machine includes a variable displacement pump driven by an internal combustion engine (1) and supplies a plurality of hydraulic circuits, a swept volume of which is changeable via an adjustment mechanism, and supplies pressure medium via at least one pressure line to a hydraulic motor. The hydraulic motor drives a radiator fan. An output of the radiator fan is reduced, at least temporarily, in the event of a drop in pressure for which the variable displacement pump cannot compensate.

  • Patent number: 7449657
Abstract: Components for positioning devices that can be welded together via a resistance welding process. The one component exhibits at least one circulatory embossing that protrudes beyond its surface toward the connection side and that engages in the complementary recess of the other component. The embossing can be pressed into the recess during the resistance welding process. At least one of the components exhibits on the side spaced from the circulatory embossing additional embossings that limit the impression depth of the circulatory embossing of the one component into the recess of the other component. This is done such that the surfaces facing each other of the two components maintain a fixed distance to one another.

  • Patent number: 7234336
Abstract: A method and a tool are provided for producing structural parts from sheet metal which have a vault-structured stiffening zone and adjacent, flat connection zones. The starting point for producing these structural parts is vault-structured blanks which are smoothed in the region of the connection zones in the course of the forming, whereas the vault structure is retained unchanged in the region of the stiffening zone. These structural parts are produced by an embossing tool which has a die and a two-piece punch including of a fixing punch and a forming punch. In the process, the blank is first of all fixed relative to the fixing punch in the region of the vault-structured stiffening zone by a fixing element which is in a leading position with respect to the die. The connection zones are then shaped between the punch and the forming punch.

  • Patent number: 7090298
Abstract: An adjustment fitting for a seat such as an automobile seat including a fixed fitting operatively attached to a fixed seat area and a fitting that is operatively attached to a moveable seat area. The adjustment fitting is adjustable via a rotatable fitting. The fixed fitting part and fitting are connected together via a rotating adjusting device. Thus, an adjustment and locking mechanism that determines a position of the fixed fitting part and fitting with respect to each other provides a wobble drive. The rotating adjusting device includes a driven rotating adjusting element and an eccentric element rotatable about a swivel axis. The eccentric element includes crimped wedge segments having wide faces pushed apart by a spring. The eccentric ring is rotatable on a bearing shell with radial play that includes an outer bearing surface of Teflon. The bearing shell grips a collar of the fitting part that supports a collar of the driven rotating adjusting element so that it may rotate.

  • Publication number: 20060049668
Abstract: The support structure of a body for a motor, vehicle is assembled from large-size partial modules. Two partial modules connected to each other comprise support sections and wall and/or floor sections connected thereto. Support sections of one partial module are connected to associated support sections of the other partial module at abutment points. In order to design a highly stressed connection between partial modules of the support structure in a very stable and simple manner, the support sections of the two partial modules, which support sections are assigned in each case to one another, are assembled to form a continuous support. Abutting surfaces of the assembled support sections run obliquely with respect to the direction of extent of the support. This oblique profile of the abutting surfaces creates a connection over a very large area in relation to the cross section of the support, which ensures an extremely stable connection of the two parts to each other.
