A closure means is fused to a container by application of an electromagnetic field providing a permanent and hermetic seal between the closure and the container. The closure further includes a removable panel to provide access to the contents of the container.

Abstract: A child resistant, moveable closure member and container device having an overcap, and inner closure, and a container, which may have a non-round body. The overcap has opposed end walls and opposed sidewalls, with at least one leading locking pin and at least one trailing locking pin in at least one of said sidewalls. The inner closure may have at least one guiding bar, which extends downwardly from its lower surface, that is compatible in shape with an opening slot that may be in at least one of the sidewalls along the upper body of the container. The container further has a fixed cover portion facing the inner closure with a dispensing opening therethrough. At least one of the container sidewalls may have a closing notch, a stopping notch distal to the closing notch, and an opening notch therebetween.

Abstract: A toggle-action container dispensing closure is provided for manipulation between a closed, non-dispensing orientation and an open, dispensing orientation. The closure includes an actuator mounted on a body secured to the container. The body defines a shearing wall-receiving recess. The body has a rear surface spaced from the abutment. The rear surface defines the rear of the recess. The body also has a control surface defining the bottom of the recess at the base of the abutment. The control surface extends from the rear surface to the abutment. This controls the fracture of the abutment from the control surface through the abutment.

Abstract: A toggle-action container dispensing closure is provided for manipulation between a closed, non-dispensing orientation and an open, dispensing orientation. The closure includes an actuator mounted on a body secured to the container. The actuator is tiltable between a closed position and an open position. The body has a severable abutment portion under the actuator. The actuator has a shearing wall confronting the abutment. The actuator includes a depending structure defining a pair of spaced-apart retaining surfaces for sliding into engagement with the abutment when the actuator is subjected to at least a predetermined force to shear the abutment whereby the sheared off abutment is gripped between the retaining surfaces.
