Patent number: 6676712Abstract: A process for the concentration of aqueous hydrogen peroxide by discontinuous crystallization. A cooling surface is arranged in a crystallizing vessel and first wetted with hydrogen peroxide and then cooled at a high cooling rate, whereupon seed crystals form. The cooling rate is at least 1 K/s, preferably from 10 to 30 K/s. When the vessel has been filled with H2O2 starting material, the latter crystallizes, starting from the seed crystals, and forms a crystal layer. When the mother liquor of lower H2O2 concentration has been discharged, there follows a sweating operation with a slow increase in temperature, as a result of which the H2O2 concentration in the crystal layer is increased further.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2001Date of Patent: January 13, 2004Assignee: Degussa AGInventors: Matthias Creutz, Stefan Nordhoff, Rudolf Wagner, Jürgen Glenneberg, Dieter Möller

Patent number: 6221294Abstract: Cyanuric chloride moldings, especially tablets and flakes, have advantages over powders in ease of handling. The moldings are produced by droplet or strip application of molten cyanuric chloride on to a surface and dissipation of the latent heat of fusion by cooling the surface or contacting the melt applied as droplets or strips with a cooling gas.Type: GrantFiled: June 15, 2000Date of Patent: April 24, 2001Assignee: Degussa AktiengesellschaftInventors: Ralf Goedecke, Klaus Hentschel, Rolf-Dieter Möller, Knut Ehrhardt, Manfred Schmidt, Michael Kissner

Patent number: 5498074Abstract: A machine for kneading dough includes a rotating, driven tub with a flat bottom and a cylindrical tub wall and two kneading tools which engage the tub eccentrically from above and which are rotated in opposite directions, synchronously about axes that are parallel to the axis of the tub and lie in a common plane with the axis. The kneading tools consist of two hoops which have two longitudinal legs which are disposed symmetrically to their axes of rotation, in each case are connected at their ends facing the bottom of the tub by a cross leg, are fastened at their upper ends at a supporting hub and pass through cylindrical working areas which overlap one another regionally, the longitudinal legs being twisted helically relative to the direction of rotation of the hoop formed thereby. The angles of rotation of the cross legs of the hoops are mutually offset.Type: GrantFiled: July 5, 1994Date of Patent: March 12, 1996Assignee: Dierks & Soehne GmbH & Co. KGInventors: Dieter Moller, Konrad Thies, Willi Schmidt, Daniel Gerbel, Joachim Etzenbach

Patent number: 4983703Abstract: The present invention relates to a coating composition containing an organic solvent, a mixture of a polyhydroxy component (A) and a polyisocyanate component (B), and a pot life extender. The polyhydroxy component has an acid value from 5 to 25 mg of KOH/g, and a mixture consisting of 0.1 to 4.0% by weight, based on the total weight of the coating composition, of a compound having a tertiary amino group or an amide group (C), and of 1 to 15% by weight, based on the total weight of (A) and (B), of a tertiary monoalcohol is used as pot life extender. 2-methyl-2-propanol and 2-methyl-2-butanol are excluded as the tertiary alcohols. The present invention also relates to the use of the coating compositions in motor car refinishing in particular.Type: GrantFiled: July 6, 1989Date of Patent: January 8, 1991Assignee: BASF Lacke & Farben AktiengesellschaftInventors: Dieter Moller, Udo Vorbeck

Filling apparatus for filling a container with a measured amount of a liquid, pasty or lumpy product
Patent number: 4940172Abstract: The filling apparatus for filling a measured amount of liquid, pasty or lumpy product into a container has at least one mouthpiece, which can be opened or closed by a closure member for its filling duct formed as a cutoff band so that an exactly defined amount of product is delivered and simultaneously a satisfactory shut off of the product flow is obtained, whereby filament or drop formation is effectively prevented.Type: GrantFiled: February 6, 1989Date of Patent: July 10, 1990Assignee: Benz & Hilgers GmbHInventors: Dieter Moller, Georg Fischer -
Patent number: 4532300Abstract: A process for the production of coatings based on reaction products of (A) polyhydroxy polyacrylate resins obtained from hydroxyalkyl esters of acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid, alkyl acrylates and/or methacrylates, one or more polymerizable, olefinically unsaturated N-containing heterocyclic compounds and if appropriate vinyl-aromatics, acrylamides or methacrylamides and other monomers with (B) isocyanurate-containing polyisocyanates having a functionality of from 2.5 to 6 and predominantly containing cycloaliphatically bonded isocyanate groups is particularly useful for coating metal articles.Type: GrantFiled: July 12, 1983Date of Patent: July 30, 1985Assignee: BASF AktiengesellschaftInventors: Werner Lenz, Hans Sander, Dieter Moller

Patent number: 4505311Abstract: An improved machine for dosing, filling and packaging of a doughy or pasty food substance. The machine sequentially includes a trough, screw conveyor, guide channel, dosing station and forming channel. The forming channel widens in a funnel-like or obelisk-like fashion in the flow direction of the food substance which is being transported therethrough. At least a part of the guide channel is covered with a layer of friction-reducing material.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 1983Date of Patent: March 19, 1985Assignee: Benz & Hilgers GmbHInventors: Erhardt Kramer, Dieter Moller, Ralph Brauer
