  • Patent number: 10814432
Abstract: In the method according to the disclosure for the unloading of a workpiece part from a workpiece, in parallel with processing time, by means of an unloading element, e.g. a vacuum sucker, the workpiece part is cut from an especially plate-form workpiece by means of a laser beam. The movement of the laser beam relative to the workpiece at least along a first movement axis (X) is divided into a movement of the workpiece and a movement of the laser beam. Before executing a final cut, which separates the workpiece part from the workpiece, the workpiece is decelerated until standstill and the final cut is then executed for example, by moving the laser beam. The workpiece part is being unloaded by an unloading element that operates at least partially during cutting of the workpiece. The unloading element operates according to one of three operating options.

  • Patent number: 10569359
Abstract: This disclosure relates to methods and apparatuses for cutting out a workpiece section along a target path from a plate-shaped workpiece using a laser beam of a laser cutting machine having a first drive for moving the workpiece along a first drive axis, a second drive for moving a laser cutting head along the first drive axis. Target values of the target path of the laser beam are divided into target values for the first drive and for the second drive. Before the laser beam reaches a cutting-out end position of the workpiece section, the target values for the first drive are set to a constant value, so that after braking of the first drive, the cutting out of the workpiece section is only still executed by moving the laser cutting head and the workpiece comes to a stop at latest at the cutting-out end position.

  • Patent number: 7899575
Abstract: The invention relates to a machine tool for processing a plate-like workpiece, including a processing tool. The processing tool is movable relative to the workpiece and the workpiece is movable relative to the processing tool along a common movement axis. A control unit selectively actuates the processing tool and the workpiece in such a manner that in a first processing mode both the processing tool and the workpiece are moved along the common movement axis and, in a second processing mode the processing tool alone is moved along the common movement axis. The invention further relates to a method for processing a workpiece of the kind mentioned above, to a method for creating a processing program, and to a computer program product having code for performing all steps of the method for creating the processing program.

  • Patent number: 4629233
Abstract: A device for compacting the containerizing compactible material such as leaves, grass and trash is provided. The device consists of a directing element having a front funnel section and a rear conduit, a rake and plunger element which is used to introduce material into the funnel section and force such material through the conduit; and a tubular netted bag having an open end mounted over the rear conduit. As material is pushed into the bag air is displaced ahead of and out the spaces in the netting material. The device can be assembled on legs to be used in an upright position and can be easily stored on a wall.

  • Patent number: 4614038
Abstract: The measuring head intended for measuring diameters of cylindrical parts, e.g. parts being ground to diameter, comprises two measuring projections which are easily adjustable when a change is made from one diameter to another diameter, while maintaining excellent precision whatever the diameter concerned and the distance which separates the measuring head from the part to be machined. For this purpose, each of the measuring projections is a crank comprising a pivoted arm and a cylindrical rod projecting from the arm and forming a measuring contact element. The cranks are secured to an upper block and a lower block, respectively. A pick-up measures the distance existing between the blocks. The cranks are implemented in such manner that the axes of the rods always remain parallel to each other whatever the angle of rotation or adjustment of each of the arms.
