  • Patent number: 8475095
Abstract: A transport unit is provided for cylindrical cargo items supported on a support surface and arranged in parallel in at least two layers. The center axes of cargo items are arranged on top of one another and extend essentially in the same vertical plane. At least one tension device extends between two layers. The tension device extends from an outside edge of a cargo item to an outside edge of an opposing cargo item in the layer. At least two stop elements are positioned on respective ends of the tension device. The stop elements are formed for engaging the cargo items and at least one of the stop elements being adjustably positionable on one end of the tension device. The stop elements being connectable by the tension device in a force transferring manner relative to the cargo items.

  • Patent number: 8439611
Abstract: A transport unit including a plate shaped transport base with cylindrical cargo objects placed there on disposed with their center axes parallel to one another and in at least one layer, wherein the center axes respectively have a distance from one another and wherein enveloping surfaces of adjacent objects are in a line contact with one another, and cargo securing devices configured as tension devices, through which the objects are secured on the base against sliding or rolling. A base which is characterized by an improved utilization of the transport volume and for which the fixation of the objects can be provided in a simply and comfortably, it is provided that tension devices engage a face of the objects and at least each object disposed at an edge of a layer is connected at the face with a tension device in a force transmitting manner.

  • Patent number: 7287721
Abstract: A winding tube is provided for a web-shaped semi-finished product or finished product. The tube comprises a cylindrical, elongated tube body having an inner wall. A data carrier that can be read in a contactless manner and that contains data about the web-shaped semi-finished product or finished product is secured to the tube body by means of a tubular holding element, positioned within the tube body. The data carrier is held in the interior of the tube body spaced from the inner wall.

  • Publication number: 20060086647
Abstract: A sorting method is defined for remnants of a web-shaped semi-finished product wound on to plastic winding tubes. The winding tubes are detected and sorted out from the remnants of the web product in order to prepare the remnants for recycling. The web remnants and tubes are run through a detector in a continuous flow and the tubes are detected in an electromagnetic alternating field by the detector. An electrically conductive component is added to the tube.

  • Publication number: 20040056141
Abstract: A winding tube for web material includes an elongated, hollow cylindrical tube body and at least one hollow cylindrical adapter. The adapter contacts a casing surface of the tube body substantially over the entire circumference along an axial portion of the tube body to fix the adapter against relative rotation. The adapter has an exterior diameter that does not exceed that of the tube body. The adapter is removable from the tube body without the adapter being destroyed.
