  • Patent number: 6785945
Abstract: A method for producing a beam for a travel way in a track vehicle system includes fabricating the beam at a production facility with dimensions corresponding to erected dimensions the beam will have at its construction site, or within a predetermined deviation from the erected dimensions. The beam is positioned in the position it will have in its erected state in the travel way at the construction site. Positions for connection points are measured and defined on the beam for appurtenances so that such appurtenances and functional surfaces will have a desired relative position on the beam in its erected state at the construction site. The connection points are reworked by adding or removing material as required so that upon mounting the appurtenances to the beam at the connection points, the appurtenances and functional surfaces will have the desired relative position on the beam at the construction site.

  • Patent number: 6782832
Abstract: A beam for a railway track guided vehicle system configured to be supported at spatial intervals on piers includes an upper flange disposed along a longitudinal length of the beam. The upper flange has opposite laterally outward portions configured for receipt of functional elements for guidance of a track vehicle. Opposite side webs extend downwardly from the upper flange along the longitudinal length of the support. A lower flange is disposed at ends of the webs opposite from the upper flange and is disposed longitudinally along the length of the support. The beam includes a uniform cross-sectional shape along a longitudinal length thereof so as to generate favorable air flow conditions for the track guided vehicle. The lower flange has a lateral dimension so as to essentially cover an underlying pier. In this way, the pier does not cause air flow disturbances to the track guided vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20040134275
Abstract: A method for measuring and/or machining a workpiece (1, 2), especially modules in building construction by means of a measuring and/or machining device (30) is presented, in which the workpiece (1, 2) is determined in a first coordinate system (21) with the aid of at least one determining [detection] device (10) and that the measuring and/or machining device (30), that can move relative to the workpiece (1, 2), is determined in a second coordinate system (22) independently of the position and the shape of the workpiece (1, 2). The coordinates of the workpiece (1, 2) on the one hand, and the coordinates of the measuring and/or machining device (30) on the other hand, are brought into a relationship with each other by a computer (40) in order to control the measuring and/or machining device (30) for measuring and machining the workpiece (1, 2).

  • Publication number: 20040099750
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for correcting the position of a slab construction, especially a solid carriageway for high-speed vehicles, consisting of precast concrete slabs (1). The precast slabs (1) are supported by a substrate made from hardenable underpoured material (4) and a supporting layer (5) on the base. In order to correct the person of at least one precast slab (1), the precast slab (1) is at least partially detached from the substructure, especially from the under poured material (4) and/or the supporting layer (5), whereupon it is finely aligned and then underpoured once more with said material (4). A separating device (20.21) is arranged on a precast concrete slab (1) which is to be detached on a successive precast concrete slab in a device provided with one such separating device in order to detach at least one part of a concrete slab (1) pertaining to a solid carriageway for high speed vehicles from the substructure thereof, especially when the position is corrected.

  • Publication number: 20040050301
Abstract: The water necessary for the production of concrete is replaced by a super-cooled, cooling transfer agent, comprising snow crystals. The cooling transfer agent is produced by mixing water with air and a cooling medium, such as liquid nitrogen, to give a cold gas mixture. The cold gas mixture is sprayed in the form of a cold gas stream. The snow crystals thus formed from the water are brought to a low temperature, of, for example, below minus 30° C. and added to the mixture of binding agents.

  • Publication number: 20030177938
Abstract: The invention relates to a travel way support, particularly for a magnetically levitated train (100), for constructing a travel way through a number of supports (2) successively arranged in the direction of travel. Said travel way support comprises an upper support section (12), particularly an upper flange (12) and at least one bracing section (13, 14), in particular, a web (13, 14), which is arranged underneath the upper support section (12). Solar cells (7, 8) and/or solar collectors are arranged in the area of the upper support section (12) and/or of the at least one bracing section (13, 14).

  • Publication number: 20030154877
Abstract: According to the invention, a support (1) for a track-guided high-speed vehicle, particularly a magnetically levitated train, is mounted at intervals on pillars (9). Functional elements (7) for guiding the vehicle are arranged on the support's outer sides. The outer surfaces of the support (1) are provided in a streamlined form with regard to the vehicle by virtue of the fact that, when viewing the support (1) in a longitudinal direction, there are essentially no changes made to the cross-section of the support (1), and the shaping of the support (1) covers, to a large extent, the pillars (9) opposite the vehicle. In curved areas of the travel way, the support (1) is shorter and, if necessary, lower than in the straight areas of the travel way.

  • Publication number: 20030121151
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for production of a connector point on a travel way for a track-bound vehicle, in particular, a maglev train, between a support (2) and at least one additional piece (3), fixed to the support (2) for guiding said vehicle, whereby said support is erected in a position essentially corresponding to the installation position thereof, or at a defined tolerance therefrom. The position of the connector points, between support and additional piece (3) is measured and where necessary during production, due to the specified dimensions thereof, material is either added to are taken from the connection point.

  • Publication number: 20030116692
Abstract: The invention relates to a concrete support (1) for a travel way of a track-guided vehicle, particularly a magnetically levitated train, that is provided, in particular, as a precast concrete part. According to the invention, webs (4, 4′) extending in a longitudinal direction of the support (1) are arranged on a first flange (2) also extending in a longitudinal direction of the support (1). A second flange (3, 3′) is arranged on the end of the webs (4, 4′) that is located at a distance from the first flange (2). Add-on pieces for guiding the vehicle can be arranged on the ends of one of the flanges (2; 3, 3′), said ends being interspaced in the cross-section of the support (1). A second flange (3, 3′) is respectively arranged on each end of the webs (4, 4′) that is located at a distance from the first flange (2), whereby these second flanges (3, 3′), starting from the end of the webs (4, 4′), extend essentially up to outer side of the support (1).

  • Patent number: 4765809
Abstract: For collection of dust from gases at temperatures up to 900.degree. C. and under presssures up to 20 bars by means of gas-permeable two-dimensional filter elements, an apparatus is proposed which comprises a pressure-resisting cylindrical outer housing, which contains a gas-tight pear-shaped inner housing, which is movably mounted in the outer housing by a means of a heat-insulating carrying structure and is provided with a tubular gas-outlet port and comprises a cambered bottom, which contains cylindrical filter elements. A pressure-confining gas-tight compensator is provided between the tubular gas-outlet port of the inner housing and the outer housing. Because the "pressure-confining" and "supporting" functions are separate, the internal components, which will be subjected to temperatures up to 900.degree. C., can be joined to the pressure-confining wall of the outer housing, which must not be heated above 200.degree. C.
