  • Patent number: 10290987
Abstract: Disclosed is a linearly moveable sliding contact element having a transport device. Linearly moveable sliding contact elements of this type having a transport device are required to electrically contact conductor paths of circuit boards with one another, the circuit boards being oriented in parallel with one another and arranged above one another. In addition, the sliding contact element is arranged on a spindle of the transport device having an outer thread. Via a rotation of the transport device, the sliding contact element can be moved in a linear manner along the spindle by the outer thread. A first bearing and a second bearing are provided at the ends of the spindle. The bearings permit a mounting of the transport device between two circuit boards arranged in parallel with one another.

  • Patent number: 4895749
Abstract: Thermoplastic film, permeable to liquids, used particularly as a covering film for absorbent material, whose openings are formed as projections on one side only of the film, and having its narrowest cross-section in a plane different from that of the smooth side of the film. The cross-section of the opening widens on passing from its narrowest point towards the free edge of the projection on film. The free edge of the projection can be irregularly lobed or wrinkled.

  • Patent number: 4735647
Abstract: In an apparatus for removing molten glass from a bath through a taphole in the wall of a vessel containing the bath, and transporting the molten glass to a processing station, a lance can be moved through the taphole and dipped into the molten glass to pick up glass with the tip portion of the lance. The lance is connected to a connecting element of an operating arrangement by first pivot means and the connecting element is mounted on a support of the operating arrangement by a second pivot spaced from the first pivot. The two pivots have mutually parallel horizontal axes and, to provide for unimpeded pivotal movement of the lance about the first pivot and of the connecting element about the second pivot, the pivots are displaced relative to each other such that the lance is pivotable in a first vertical plane and the connecting element is pivotable in a second vertical plane which is spaced from the first vertical plane.
