  • Publication number: 20070272647
Abstract: The invention generally relates to a closure that has a cover and an annular first skirt coupled to the cover that extends downwardly in an axial direction from the cover. A plurality of vertical strips are formed in the annular first skirt. At least a vertical tear band is located between some or all of the vertical strips. Each of the at least a vertical tear band couples adjacent vertical strips together.

  • Patent number: 5680945
Abstract: A tamper evident plastic closure for containers and the like. The closure has a top portion and a depending annular skirt portion with a annular ring attached to the closure by a plurality of frangible elements. The annular ring includes a inwardly extending projection arranged for registration with a locking flange on the associated container for separation of the annular ring from the closure skirt upon removal of the closure indicating tampering thereto.

  • Patent number: 5588562
Abstract: A dual tamper indicating closure with resealable pour spout for use on plastic bottles and the like. The closure has a first annular indicator band engageable on a portion of a bottle neck secured to the closure by a plurality of frangible elements thereabout. A second annular indicator band is engageable on a secondary top on the pour spout. The secondary cap has a opening within that selectively registers with a plug positioned above an aperture in the closure from which the pour spout extends. Movement of the secondary cap on the pour spout separates the annular indicator band from the secondary top allowing access to the pour spout.

  • Patent number: 5487481
Abstract: A tamper evident plastic closure for containers and the like. The closure has a top portion and a depending annular skirt portion with a annular ring attached to the closure by a plurality of frangible elements. The annular ring includes a plurality of circumferentially spaced radially inwardly extending projections arranged for registration with a locking flange on the associated container for separation of the annular ring from the closure skirt upon removal of the closure indicating tampering thereto.

  • Patent number: 4649551
Abstract: Decoder for a frequency keyed signal, particularly an FSK videotext signal. To avoid isochronous distortions, precise matching of the decoder is necessary. Due to the provision of a additional AFC circuit (11) to regulate the natural frequency of the VCO (5) in the PLL loop (3-5) of the decoder, such matching is no longer required.

  • Patent number: 4280548
Abstract: A support for furniture, such as outdoor furniture, has a support frame and stretched thereon is a net or lattice-like arrangement of flat web strips of plastics material; where they cross one another the strips are bonded together by means of thin planar enveloping members. The webs extend between and are secured to opposite sides of the frame, and to each end of each web a securing member is attached; each web is secured to an associated side of the frame by looping its end around the side and fastening the end by means of slipping the securing member onto the strip itself in the vicinity of the frame. Several forms of securing member are disclosed, and in each case the member is slotted or U-shaped enabling the member to be slipped transversely onto the strip. Each member has means to prevent the securing member inadvertently slipping transversely off the strip.

  • Patent number: 4112163
Abstract: A net for supporting upholstery in furniture. The net include a plurality of longitudinal and transverse cords arranged perpendicularly relative to each other and forming a plurality of cross-over points. A molded synthetic connecting member is bonded to the transverse and longitudinal cords at their cross-over points and completely encloses both cords in the region of their cross-over points.

  • Patent number: 4047824
Abstract: A connection between a metal wire hook and a cord of synthetic fiber material particularly suitable for connecting nets of crossing cords into frames for chairs, sofas, beds and similar furniture. The metal wire has a bent portion with a free end. The bent portion of the metal wire spans an angle in excess of 180.degree. and has a pair of shanks which define a clearance space therebetween. The cord extends through this clearance space and the portion of the cord in the clearance space is squeezed and has therefore a reduced cross-section. The hooked portion of the metal wire and the squeezed portion of the cord are preferably cast into a sheathing of thermoplastic material.
