  • Patent number: 6378500
Abstract: A pressure regulating valve has a valve chamber with a supply for connection to a pressure source. It also has a valve member which is placed on a seat surface in a valve body by a closing spring with an adjusting pressing force. A throttle opening is provided in the valve body to a return conduit. The pressure regulating valve is formed so that the valve member releases the throttle opening to the return conduit in correspondence with a load condition of an internal combustion engine, depending on its stroke path.

  • Publication number: 20010026760
Abstract: A fuel feeding module for a motor vehicle has a fuel supply tank, a storage container arranged in the fuel supply tank, a feeding aggregate arranged in the storage container and feeding fuel from the storage container to an internal combustion engine of the motor vehicle, the feeding aggregate having a driving part and a pump part which is formed as a flow pump and has a rotatably driven impeller cooperating with at least one flow passage for feeding the fuel, a jet pump which is connected with the flow passage of the pump part of the feeding aggregate and through which the fuel is fed from the fuel supply tank into the storage container, the jet pump being arranged laterally near the feeding aggregate and connected with the flow passage of the pump part by a passage which extends along the bottom of the storage container.

  • Publication number: 20010017128
Abstract: A fuel feed module for a motor vehicle has a storage container adapted to be arranged in a fuel supply tank of a motor vehicle, a feed aggregate arranged in the storage container and having a drive formed as an electric motor for driving fuel from the storage container to an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, means forming at least approximately hollow cylindrical receptacle arranged on the storage container, formed so that the feed aggregate is insertable into the receptacle in direction of its longitudinal axis, at least one mounting element fixed in the feed aggregate in direction of its longitudinal axis, the mounting element being formed as a cover part arranged on the feed aggregate and being at least partially electrically conductive.

  • Publication number: 20010006060
Abstract: The fuel supply unit has a pot-shaped reservoir (12) arranged in a fuel tank (10), in which a fuel feed device (18) is arranged. The fuel feed device (18) feeds fuel from the fuel tank (10) to the internal combustion engine. The fuel supplied by the fuel feed unit (18) feeds fuel through a fuel filter (24). The hydraulic connection of the filter (24) with the fuel feed device (18) is made by means of a distributor plate (36). A tubular projecting portion (32) is formed on an outer wall section (14) of the reservoir (12) in one piece with the outer wall section. The tubular projecting portion (32) is open on its top side and at least partially forms a housing for the filter (24) and a filter element (34) is inserted in it. The distributor plate (36) forms a covering element for the housing (32) since it is tightly connected with the top side of the housing (32).

  • Publication number: 20010004889
Abstract: The fuel supply unit has a fuel feed device (12) arranged in a fuel tank of a motor vehicle. The fuel feed device (12) feeds fuel from the fuel tank (10) to the internal combustion engine. A fuel filter (16), a non-return valve (18) and a pressure regulator (20) are arranged in the fuel tank (10) and in a fuel line connecting the fuel feed device (12) and the engine. These components are mounted on a plate-shaped plastic supporting member (36), in which hydraulic connections between the fuel feed device (12) and the components and/or between the components are formed. A covering element (46) is connected tightly with the supporting member (36) so as to form a passage (48) between it and the supporting member (36) for hydraulic connection of the fuel feed device (12) with the main filter (16).
