  • Publication number: 20230347796
Abstract: A vehicle seat console movably attaches a vehicle seat in a vehicle which has a vehicle body with a floor structure. The floor structure forms a vehicle interior floor on which the vehicle seat is movably arranged parallel to the vehicle longitudinal direction and parallel to the vehicle lateral direction via at least one first rail assembly running parallel to the vehicle longitudi-nal direction and at least one second rail assembly running parallel to the vehicle lateral direction. The vehicle interior floor has a step running in the vehicle lateral direction, the step dividing the vehicle interior floor in the vehicle longitudinal direction into a first floor region lying at a lower height and a second floor region lying at a higher height, and the vehicle interior floor is constricted by wheel housings, which penetrate into the floor from the respective exterior, behind the at least one vehicle seat.

  • Publication number: 20230339370
Abstract: A longitudinally and transversely slidable vehicle seat has a seat mounting with a mounting part fixed on the vehicle and a slidable mounting part. An adjusting device slides the vehicle seat in the longitudinal vehicle direction and in the transverse vehicle direction. The adjusting device has a first guide section extending with a direction component in the longitudinal vehicle direction and a second guide section extending with a direction component in the transverse vehicle direction. The seat mounting is provided with a coupling device, which couples the slidable mounting part and the fixed mounting part to each other. The first guide section and the second guide section lie in a common plane. The guide sections are formed on or in a slotted guide. The slotted guide has a slotted guide track formed as a slot or groove. The adjusting device has a slotted guide element provided so that it can be guided along the course of the slotted guide.

  • Publication number: 20230158924
Abstract: Disclosed is a seat rail pair (2) for adjustment of a vehicle seat (8), in particular of a motor vehicle seat, in an adjustment direction (x), comprising a guide rail (10) extending parallel to the adjustment direction (x) for fastening to a vehicle floor, and a fastening rail (21), which is adjustably guided on the guide rail (10) in the adjustment direction (x) for fastening the vehicle seat (8), wherein an energy absorber element (5) is provided in a path, which introduces the force acting on the vehicle seat (8) into the vehicle structure, which energy absorber element permits a movement of the vehicle seat in the adjustment direction (x) under plastic deformation when a predetermined value of the force is exceeded.

  • Patent number: 7097252
Abstract: A motor vehicle seat with a seat back hinge including a lower hinge arm associated with a seat carrier and an upper hinge arm associated with a seat back. A locking mechanism prevents the seat back tilting forward in a locked position and allows tilting of the seat back in a released position. The locking mechanism includes a handle, and a blocking lever hinged to the seat back that includes a blocking side. The upper hinge arm cooperates with the blocking side and a retaining catch stop. A retaining lever on the seat back forms a retaining lug which abuts the retaining catch stop in the tilted position of the seat back and retains the seat back in position. The blocking lever pivots upon actuation of the handle to abut the retaining lever, which is pivoted as a result, releasing the retaining lug from engagement with the retaining catch stop.

  • Patent number: 6105457
Abstract: The invention pertains to a self-adjusting device that equalizes the length for pull ropes which activate parts of motor vehicles, particularly for locking latches of motor vehicle seats, with a spring-loaded tension element. The spring-loaded tension element is formed by a pivoting lever which is guided on a support, so that its longitudinal position may be shifted and so as to be capable of being pivoted, which exhibits two terminal areas that are entwined by the pull rope. Due to the use of a tension spring, one terminal area abuts a stop, from which it may be lifted up as the force of the tension spring is overcome, and swiveled to make contact with an opposing stop, when tractile force is applied to the pull rope. The stop and opposing stop exhibit contact surfaces that run parallel to one another, and which extend across the pathway of longitudinal shift. Between the two entwined terminal areas of the pivoting lever, provision is made for an area of entwinement in a fixed location on the support.
