  • Patent number: 5373718
Abstract: A lock cylinder comprises a profile housing (1) with a cylinder core (9) disposed rotatably therein, and tumblers (15) which are controllable by a flat key. Disposed on the profile housing (1) is an information detector (37) which responds contactless to control information signals of a control circuit of the flat key, which is connected to an electronic control and power-supply circuit having at least some of its circuit components disposed separate from the lock cylinder. These circuit components are connected by a cable (43) and a plug connector (45) consisting of two plug parts (49, 51) complementary to one another. A first plug part (49) is mounted fixed on the profile housing (1), and the cable (43) bears a second, loose plug part (51) capable of placement on the first plug part (49).

  • Patent number: 5044184
Abstract: The profiled cylinder (38) seated in an insertion opening (87) of the lock housing (7) is guided by a retaining bracket (93) and fixed centrally by a detent pin (121) on the retaining bracket (93). The detent pin (121) is guided displaceably on a slide piece (103) and initially stressed by a spring (131) towards the profiled cylinder (38). The profiled cylinder (38) contains a reading device for en electronic key, which device is connected through a plug-in connection (89) with an electronic circuit of the lock. The plug-in connection (89) and the detent pin (121) are so adapted to one another that the detent pin (121) firstly fixes the profiled cylinder (38) on the pedestal (93) before the slide piece (103) guided in centered manner in relation to the pedestal (93) closes the plug-in connection (89). In this way defects of alignment of the plug-in connection (89) and damage to its contact elements (107, 109 ) are avoided.

  • Patent number: 4833465
Abstract: The electronic door lock for an electronic key provided with an electronic store for a key word datum has a latch bolt (5) actuatable at least from the inside of the door by means of a handle and a bolt (7) which is lockable and unlockable by an electric drive device (35). A control circuit (81) formed especially as micro-processor reads the key word datum stored in the key, through the reading device (77), and controls the electric drive (35) in dependence thereon. The reading device (77) includes sensor elements (93, 95), especially pieco-electric elements by way of which the drive direction of the electric drive (35) is selectable by a key movement of short stroke. In order that the electronic lock may be opened manually in case of emergency, a mechanical lock cylinder (113) is provided by means of which the bolt (7) is uncoupled from the drive connection to the electric drive (35) and is bringable into a drive connection to the handle nut (23) actuating the latch bolt (5 ).
