  • Patent number: 9331368
Abstract: A battery module has at least four battery cells that are cooled via a cooling plate arranged between them. Fins project on the cooling plate and at the same time serve as stops for individual battery cells. As a result, a powerful and very rigid battery module is provided that is of structurally simple construction.

  • Patent number: 9231285
Abstract: A battery device has at least two interconnected battery modules and at least one cooling plate arranged between two battery modules for cooling the battery modules. A housing encases the battery device and is provided with a frame structure. The at least one cooling plate is traversed by a flow of fluid and is formed from two metal layers that are connected to one another. Additionally, the at least one cooling plate is connected fixedly at least by its ends to the frame structure and stiffens the frame structure. Thus, the battery device exhibits high power and is robust.

  • Publication number: 20140132408
Abstract: A method for operating a tire pressure monitoring system of a motor vehicle, including a direct or indirect sensing device for sensing and outputting the pressure which is present in the motor vehicle tires. In order to assist the driver of a vehicle when inflating a tire, a loudspeaker, which is present on the motor vehicle, is used to transmit the current pressure value (pact) to the vehicle driver by a voice message. In this context, the voice message includes the current pressure values (pact) in increments of 0.1 bar. The loudspeakers, which are present, are the loudspeakers of the vehicle's own multimedia system or a loudspeaker of the vehicle's own alarm system.

  • Publication number: 20080300732
Abstract: An apparatus for a motor vehicle includes a first control device, a plurality of second control devices, and a bus system that links the control devices. Wherewith an activity of the control devices is dependent on communication between the control devices which is transmitted via the bus system. The apparatus is distinguished in that the first control device is configured such as to deny communication to (or via) the bus system under prescribed conditions, and the second control devices are configured to cancel (interrupt) a communication to (or via) the bus system if the first control device denies the communication. Additionally, a method is disclosed wherein the apparatus is operated in the described manner.
