    Abstract: The invention relates to a self-hardening material for supporting bandages which is packaged with exclusion of moisture and consists of an air-permeable, flexible carrier material which is impregnated and/or coated with a compound possessing at least 2 NCO groups. The self-hardening material has a greatly improved shelf life by being stored substantially oxygen-free in an air-tight pack.
