    Assignee: Bayer Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Dietmar Schapel, Kuno Wagner, Hanns P. Muller, Manfred Dahm
  • Patent number: 4129697
Abstract: The invention relates to thermoformable polyisocyanurate foams which are produced by reacting a polymethylene polyphenyl polyisocyanate having a specified diisocyanate content with polyethers which have an OH number between 28 and 112 and dihydric alcohols which have a molecular weight between 62 and 200 in the presence of isocyanate trimerization catalysts, blowing agents and other foaming agents.

  • Patent number: 4094970
Abstract: In an insecticidal article comprising an insecticidally effective amount of at least one volatile phosphoric or thiophosphoric acid ester and a solid polyurethane carrier material, the improvement wherein said polyurethane is an elastomeric polyurethane, whereby the article retains its activity over a long period of time. The polyurethane is formed of a polyisocyanate and a mixture of a long chain polyol and a short chain polyol and/or polyamine.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 12, 1976

    Assignee: Bayer Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Wolfgang Behrenz, Dietmar Schapel, Manfred Dahm
  • Patent number: 4029593
Abstract: Mixtures of polyols which normally separate into phases are stabilizeed against such separation by including in the mixture a stabilizing amount, preferably from about 0.05% to about 5% based on the weight of polyols in the mixture of an inert surface-active inorganic material having a specific surface of about 10 to about 800 m.sup.2 /g.
