  • Patent number: 7966657
Abstract: A method of securely transmitting information between a user device and a central computing device, located in a self-contained network. The method includes: sending a request from the user device to a second computing device located outside of the self-contained network to connect with the central computing device; transmitting from the second network device to a third computing device located in the self-contained network a message containing a unique identification; storing in a database, via the third computing device, the unique identification when the identification is validated, and sending, via the third computing device, a confirmation message to the second computing device; and initializing a connection with the central computing device through the user device, using information contained in the confirmation message to initialize a connection with the central computing device, and the connection through the central computing device is accepted when access by the user device is authorized.

  • Publication number: 20090251601
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and to a device for synchronizing the image capture by cameras. For this purpose, a duplex-capable network is provided. Within the network, one or more hardware-supported synchronization modules with a logical channel of a first type are provided, wherein the synchronization module or modules transmit, via the logical channel, image-capture signals that control the capture time of image sensors, wherein the image-capture signals are received by image-capture devices, and wherein the image-capture devices each capture an image as a response to the reception of an image-capture signal, and wherein the image data is then transmitted via the network by the image-capture devices via a logical channel of a second type.

  • Publication number: 20040148522
Abstract: The method serves for a secure information transfer between a user device (C) and a central computer (S-D), arranged in a closed network. A connection request is signalled to a second computer (R-Q), not arranged in the closed network, from the user device (C), using the central computer (S-D). The second computer (S-Q) then transmits a message (TAN1)—containing an identification (SessionID) to a third computer (S-Z), arranged in the private network. The third computer (S-Z) stores the identification (Session ID) and transmits a verification report (TAN2) containing an access address (URL) for the central computer (S-D) to the second computer (S-Q), which forwards the verification report (TAN2) to the user device (C). The user device (C) then initialises a connection to the central computer (S-D), using the access address (URL), whereby the connection is only accepted by the central computer (S-D) n those cases where the access can be authorised by the stored identification (SessionID).
