  • Publication number: 20180022497
Abstract: A fluid housing of a fluid treatment system of a fluid system has a housing part of plastic material that is provided with a receiving chamber for accommodating a fluid treatment component; an installation opening, closable by a closure housing part, for installing the fluid treatment component in the receiving chamber; and a housing connecting section to connect the housing part to the closure housing part. A housing fastening section is provided with which the fluid housing can be fastened to a holding component of the fluid system. An insert is at least partially introduced into the plastic material of the housing part. The insert is provided with a reinforcement region extending with sections thereof in the housing connecting section and is further provided with fastening region extending with sections thereof in the housing fastening section. A fluid treatment system with such a fluid housing is provided.

  • Publication number: 20160186696
Abstract: An air guiding arrangement for an internal combustion engine is provided with an intake manifold that supplies intake air to the internal combustion engine, wherein the intake manifold has a flow compressor apparatus with a compressor. A tank ventilation system for a fuel tank of the internal combustion engine is provided, wherein the tank ventilation system has an adsorption filter and a first ventilation line which is branching off the adsorption filter. A throttle device is provided upstream of the compressor in the intake manifold. The ventilation line is connected to the intake manifold and opens into the intake manifold at a location between the throttle device and the compressor.

  • Publication number: 20160106907
Abstract: A blood filtering device has a filtration section with filter medium separating raw side and clean side. A first communication path connects raw side and a first variable blood reservoir volume; a second communication path connects raw side and a second variable blood reservoir volume coupled to a receptacle. When varying the first variable blood reservoir volume, blood contained therein flows through first communication path to raw side, plasma/serum passes through the filter medium from raw side to clean side, and residual blood flows from raw side through second communication path into the second variable blood reservoir volume. When varying the second variable blood reservoir volume, blood contained therein flows through second communication path to raw side, plasma/serum passes through the filter medium from raw side to clean side, and residual blood flows from raw side through first communication path into first variable blood reservoir volume.

  • Patent number: 8156741
Abstract: An exhaust gas turbocharger for an internal combustion engine has a compressor arranged in an intake tract of an internal combustion engine for precompression of air passing through the intake tract to the compressor. A switchable air guiding device is arranged upstream of the compressor, wherein the switchable air guiding device supplies an air flow to the compressor in at least two different ways. The air guiding device has at least two components, wherein the at least two components are substantially made from plastic material.

  • Publication number: 20100205949
Abstract: The invention relates to an arrangement for supplying an internal combustion engine (1), particularly of a motor vehicle, with a stream of combustion air (2) and for removing a stream of exhaust gas (3) from the internal combustion engine (1). The arrangement comprises a fresh air channel (4) for conveying the stream of combustion air (2), an exhaust channel (5) for conveying the stream of exhaust gas (3), an exhaust gas turbocharger (6) comprising a condenser (7) disposed in the fresh air channel (4) and comprising a turbine (8) disposed in the exhaust gas channel (5), a swirl generator (9) connected directly upstream of the condenser (7) for the stream of combustion air (2) arriving in the condenser (7), and a low-pressure exhaust gas return (10) comprising a return channel (11) emptying into the fresh air channel (4) upstream of the condenser (7) for conveying an exhaust gas return stream (12).
