    Abstract: The sealing device has a casing and a shaft extending through the casing. A bearing housing with an outer ring bearing is received in the casing. The shaft is rotatably supported in the bearing housing. A slide ring sealing unit including a slide ring, a counterring, and at least one compression spring is provided. The slide ring is forced by the compression spring against the counterring. A centering ring with centering elements is provided. The slide ring sealing unit is connected with the centering ring to the bearing housing, and the slide ring sealing unit is centered at the bearing housing with the centering elements.
