Patent number: 10457400Abstract: A mixing device that is particularly suitable for use in an aircraft air-conditioning system comprising a cold air supply line adapted to supply cold air to the mixing device. A first recirculation air supply line is adapted to supply recirculation air to the mixing device. A mixing chamber is connected to the cold air supply line and the first recirculation air supply line and is adapted to supply the cold air supplied to the mixing device via the cold air supply line with the recirculation air supplied to the mixing device via the first recirculation air supply line. The first recirculation air supply line has a heat transfer portion which is thermoconductively connected to an area of a wall delimiting the mixing chamber that is at risk of icing.Type: GrantFiled: June 20, 2014Date of Patent: October 29, 2019Assignee: Airbus Operations GmbHInventors: Dietrich Lampe, Thomas Scherer

Patent number: 10399661Abstract: A system for moving loads comprises a cargo hold floor, at least one row of rollers integrated into the floor, at least one guide rail in the floor and extending parallel to the at least one row of rollers, and a least one transport vehicle. The vehicle is received in the guide rail and movable along the guide rail and comprises at least one connecting element which is movable between first and second operating positions wherein the connecting element, in its first operating position, is arranged such that the vehicle is positionable under a load deposited onto the at least one row of rollers and, in its second operating position, is arranged such that it interacts with the load so as to connect the load to the vehicle such that the load is entrained by the vehicle when the vehicle is moved along the guide rail.Type: GrantFiled: October 13, 2016Date of Patent: September 3, 2019Assignees: AIRBUS OPERATIONS GMBH, AIRBUS OPERATIONS SAS, AIRBUS SASInventors: Dietrich Lampe, Kai Christensen, Knut Niemeck, Claude Cuiller, Pierre-Eric Dereux, Frank Feest, Kathryn Waidelich, Hyung Jo Kim

Patent number: 10292798Abstract: A device and method for moving cargo above a floor inside an aircraft comprises a rigid under-floor. The device comprises a body part for supporting the weight of the cargo, lifting means and for lowering the body part from its lifted position into a retracted position, and a drive unit for moving the body part. The method comprises the steps of providing at least two devices in an aircraft, positioning the devices beneath the cargo, wherein the body parts of the devices are in their retracted positions. The body parts are lifted such that the weight of the cargo is supported by the body parts and the cargo is lifted above the floor. The cargo is then moved to a desired position and lowered into their retracted positions such that the cargo is lowered and the devices are moved away vertically from the cargo.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2016Date of Patent: May 21, 2019Assignees: AIRBUS OPERATIONS GMBH, AIRBUS OPERATIONS SAS, AIRBUS SASInventors: Dietrich Lampe, Kai Christensen, Claude Cuiller, Pierre-Eric Dereux, Frank Feest, Hyung-Jo Kim, Knut Niemeck, Kathryn Waidelich

Patent number: 9869477Abstract: A mixer assembly for an air-conditioning system comprising a recirculation air line, connectable to a vehicle region to be air-conditioned, to remove recirculation air from the region, and an air-conditioning air line, connectable to an air-conditioning unit to remove conditioned air from the air-conditioning unit. A first mixing region, for mixing the recirculation air with the conditioned air, is connected to the two air lines. A second mixing region, for mixing the first mixing region air with recirculation air, is connected to the recirculation air line and the first mixing region. Also, a first supply line is connected to the first mixing region to supply air from the first mixing region to a first partial region of the vehicle region, and a second supply line is connected to the second mixing region to supply air from the second mixing region to a second partial region of the vehicle region.Type: GrantFiled: June 5, 2014Date of Patent: January 16, 2018Assignee: Airbus Operations GmbHInventors: Dietrich Lampe, Thomas Scherer, Jens Lohmar, Michael Markwart, Martin Schmid

Patent number: 9341703Abstract: A system for checking the positioning of components is provided. The system includes a reading device for reading in component identification information, which is provided by an identification device in a spatially limited region about a component to be checked, a locating device with at least one stationary reference device, a movement component which is movable relative thereto and a computing unit. The reading device and the locating device can be connected to the computing unit. The computing unit is set up to detect a relative position of the movement component with respect to the at least one reference device in the spatially limited region about the component to be checked and to form a data pair from the detected relative position with component identification information read in by means of the reading device and to compare it with predefined data pairs.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 2013Date of Patent: May 17, 2016Assignee: AIRBUS OPERATIONS GMBHInventors: Henning Everth, Dietrich Lampe
