Abstract: A cosmetics compact having a shell-shaped housing lower part and a lid coupled by way of a hinge, and a presser. The technical problem is to facilitate opening of the lid after unlocking. A pre-tensionable element which bears against the lid and pre-tensions the latter in the direction of opening is arranged on the housing lower part or on an insert thereof, spaced from the hinge axis.

Abstract: A compact for cosmetic preparations having a housing part, a powder tray and/or insert containing the like inside the housing part and a lid coupled by way of a hinge, having a first catch integrally formed on the lid and cooperating with a second catch, as well as having a presser for releasing the catches. The problem is reliable opening of the compact and high strength of the catches, also inexpensive manufacture of the compact and ease of operation for the user. The second catch is seated in the region of the housing part. The presser is displaceable in the housing part, releases the catches by pressing thereon and opens the lid.

Abstract: A cosmetics compact having a shell-shaped housing lower part, a powder tray and/or insert containing the like inside the housing lower part and a lid coupled by way of a hinge, having matching pairs of hook-like detent elements for locking lid and housing lower part, with a first detent element being integrally formed in one piece on the lid, as well as having a presser for releasing the detent elements. The technical problem is reliable guidance of the presser over a long displacement path and high strength of the detent elements, also inexpensive manufacture and ease of operation for the user. The second detent element is seated in one piece on the housing lower part. The presser is connected via a V-shaped carrier to the insert and is rectilinearly guided in an opening in the housing lower part, and projections of the presser may be brought into engagement with the first detent element.
