Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the rapid initialization of an electrical energy storage system comprising the following steps: a) miming at least one predefined diagnosis of the electrical energy storage system to achieve at least one predefined first diagnosis coverage; b) determining an achieved second diagnosis coverage on the basis of the at least one diagnosis run in step a); c) saving the achieved second diagnosis coverage in a first data memory; d) running no more than a portion of the at least one predefined diagnosis of step a) to achieve at least one predefined third diagnosis coverage; e) determining an achieved fourth diagnosis coverage on the basis of the portion of the at least one predefined diagnosis run in step d); f) storing the achieved fourth diagnosis coverage in a second data memory. The invention further relates to a corresponding device and a corresponding electrical energy storage system.

Abstract: A method for checking for the presence of a current firmware version of a sensor by a measurement transmitter, wherein in the measurement transmitter a table is stored, the table contains at least one firmware version number and associated information concerning the presence of a current firmware version. The method comprises the steps of: connecting the sensor to the measurement transmitter; ascertaining a firmware version number of the sensor by the measurement transmitter; comparing the firmware version number of the sensor with the at least one firmware version number in the table; ascertaining the information concerning the presence of a current firmware version based on the at least one firmware version number in the table; and producing a report, which displays the information concerning the presence of a current firmware version.

Abstract: A method for transferring static data and dynamic data from a measuring point at least comprising a field device of process automation technology containing a Web server to a Web browser having tabbed navigation. The static data comprises at least an identification of the measuring point, characterized in that the identification of the measuring point is displayed in the title of a tab of the Web browser having tabbed navigation. Also contemplated is a field device for performing the method.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for testing an operating state of a processing tool comprising an electrode with a transmitter having a sensor interface for connecting a sensor. A simulated sensor signal is output to the transmitter via the sensor interface, and the simulated sensor signal is converted into a measured value in the transmitter, where it is checked for correctness. The method does not require service personnel to be present on site, and after the sensor has been removed from the sensor interface, the simulated sensor signal is produced by an external electrode unit and is transmitted via the sensorless sensor interface to the transmitter.
