Abstract: A liquid crystal composition includes at least one compound of general formula I, at least one compound of general formula II and at least one compound of general formula III. The liquid crystal composition has a suitable optical anisotropy, a suitable clearing point, a suitable dielectric anisotropy absolute value, a large K value, a low rotational viscosity, a short response time, a high transmittance, a high contrast and a long low-temperature storage time. A liquid crystal display device having the liquid crystal composition has excellent performance and is suitable for fast response, high-contrast VA, IPS, NFFS and other display modes.
