  • Publication number: 20230340548
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for in-situ synthesis of alkyl esters of fatty acids and their efficient extraction from oleaginous microbes. Particularly, the present invention provides a rapid method for downstream processing of oleaginous biomass for in-situ synthesis of alkyl esters of fatty acids and their efficient extraction. The method of the present invention results in increased transesterification efficiency (>95%) of FAAE production from wet biomass, while eliminating the necessity of biomass harvesting, drying and large requirement of chemical solvents.

  • Publication number: 20230319036
Abstract: A system can efficiently control access to an interactive computing environment. The system can receive authentication data of an authentication attempt associated with an entity. The system can determine, for the entity, a historical vector including features that include sub-features. The historical vector can be determined by generating synthetic data, generating weights, and determining probabilities. The synthetic data can be based on historical authentication attempts by entities other than the entity. The weights can correspond to sub-features of the historical vector. The probabilities can indicate a likelihood that a corresponding sub-feature is involved in the authentication attempt. The system can compare the historical vector to the authentication data. The system can generate a responsive message based on the comparison for controlling access to the interactive computing environment.

  • Patent number: 10619849
Abstract: Systems and methods for leak detection and remote, non-intrusive, automatic shutoff in residential regulators are provided. Such systems and methods can include a shutoff device that includes a mounting bracket for mounting on a supply container, a linking device for coupling to a knob of a valve of a regulator of the supply container, and an actuator for, responsive to a control signal, automatically rotating the linking device, which rotates the knob, which rotates the valve from an on position to an off position. In some embodiments, a leak sensor can detect a presence of a fuel leak and, responsive thereto, transmit the control signal to the actuator, and in some embodiments, a position sensor can determine that a current position of the valve is indicative of the on position and, responsive thereto, transmit the control signal to the actuator.

  • Patent number: 9890402
Abstract: The present invention relates to the continuous process of sequestration of nutrients from waste effluents released from gas fermentation plants or green-house gases emission managing plants by novel Thraustochytrids. Particularly this invention relates to the methods and systems to enhance sequestration rate and productivity of the process. This invention also relates to rapid biotransformation of nutrients present in waste effluents into high value omega-3 fatty acids like Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), Docosapentaenoic acid (DPA), Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and lipids for biodiesel. This disclosure is about means of processing of waste streams and producing value added products out of it.

  • Publication number: 20150148948
Abstract: Current handheld marking devices typically use hand movement to create marks on a surface. Marks, in this context, can be defined as an area on a surface having different physical properties from its surroundings. Such marks are created by the motion of a marking region that travels on a surface plane, creating a mark over time. Examples of such devices are: pens, brushes, markers, spray tools, and engraving instruments. Marking devices carry motion from the brain, to the hand, through the device and onto the surface. A feedback loop is created from the brain to hands to a final mark on a surface. The mark is observed as it is created and loops back into the brain. This creative mark making loop is the process to generate a visual element or design on a surface. Typically this loop is consistent across handheld marking devices.

  • Publication number: 20140032975
Abstract: A method and apparatus for monitoring changes to a block of data is disclosed. A computer sets a first hardware watchpoint to monitor changes to the block of data at a current location of the block of data in memory and a second hardware watchpoint to monitor changes at a selected location in the memory where a reference to the block of data is located. Responsive to the second hardware watchpoint being triggered by a change at the selected location where the reference to the block of data is located, the computer identifies a new location of the block of data in the memory based on the change that triggered the second hardware watchpoint. Subsequent to identifying the new location of the block of data, the computer then resets the first hardware watchpoint to monitor changes to the block of data at the new location of the block of data.

  • Publication number: 20110099107
Abstract: A method and system to mobile based money transaction across different transaction entity. A non-repudiable message, using a first mobile device, is sent to a first transaction entity expressing to provide a token wherein the mobile device is registered with the first transaction entity. The first transaction entity provides a generated token to the first mobile device using non-repudiable messaging services. The first mobile, in turn, transfers the non-repudiable message to a second mobile device of a second user including a token and a transaction entity code. The second mobile device sends the non-repudiable message to a second transaction entity, indicating a token number, a transaction entity code, and sum of money being transferred. The second transaction entity advances the token number, via a non-repudiable message, to a transaction entity indicated by the transaction code to authenticate the token.
