Abstract: A baking oven is set forth employing heat transfer of a relatively thick metal slab oriented within an oven that is formed with a removable insulated cover positionable over a support base. The support base is provided with a single low temperature heating element to direct heat to an overlying metal slab to provide continuous and even heat over a prolonged period of time to enable baking of items within the oven utilizing minimal cooking oils and the like during the baking process.
