  • Patent number: 12678019
Abstract: A shoe disinfecting device of the present disclosure may comprise a base, an interior compartment configured to hold a liquid disinfecting solution, at least one shoe wiping assembly including a tray and at least one absorbent pad, a first sensor configured to generate output signals representing a liquid content level of the tray, and a controller. The tray may include a recess having at least one channel defined therein. The controller may include a liquid disinfecting solution control mode configured to receive the output signals from the first sensor and, based on a comparison between the measured liquid content level and a target liquid content level, to selectively pump the liquid disinfecting solution from the interior compartment of the base via at least a liquid pump and into the channel of the shoe wiping assembly.

  • Publication number: 20250017444
Abstract: A shoe disinfecting device has a base and a lid defining an interior compartment to hold liquid disinfecting solution. The lid is upwardly biased (e.g., spring loaded) from a compressed position to an extended position and includes openings for passage of solution between the interior and a lid upper surface. Pressurization of the solution within the interior, responsive to forces depressing the lid from the extended to the compressed position, causes expelling of the solution through the openings and onto the upper surface. Upon release of the depressing force, biasing of the lid from the depressed to the extended position creates a vacuum within the interior and pulls remaining solution from the upper surface back into the interior. A removable disinfecting liquid container is in fluid communication with the interior via a liquid pump controlled to pump solution from the container to maintain sufficient quantities of solution within the interior.

  • Publication number: 20240039720
Abstract: A method for initiating a chat between participants in a group chat is provided. The method includes requesting, with a first client device from a first participant, to initiate a chat with a second client device from a second participant, receiving, from a chat server, an identification for the second participant, requesting, from a verifiable directory, an identity proof of the second participant associated with the identification for the second participant, wherein the verifiable directory includes a list of encryption keys for client devices associated with each of multiple users in the chat server, verifying the identity proof of the second participant, and initiating the chat with the second participant when the identity proof of the second participant is verified. A system including a memory storing instructions, and a processor to execute the instructions for the system to perform the above method are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20230292988
Abstract: A shoe disinfecting device is disclosed having a base and a lid defining an interior compartment to hold a liquid disinfecting solution. The lid is upwardly biased (e.g., spring loaded) from a compressed position to an extended position and includes openings there through to allow passage of solution between the interior compartment and an upper surface of the lid. Pressurization of the solution within the interior compartment, responsive to a force depressing the lid from the extended position to the compressed position, causes expelling of the solution through the openings and onto the upper surface. Upon release of the force depressing the lid, biasing of the lid from the depressed position to the extended position creates a vacuum within the interior compartment and pulls at least some of any remaining liquid disinfecting solution from the upper surface back through the openings and into the interior compartment.

  • Publication number: 20200163532
Abstract: A shoe disinfecting device is disclosed having a base which defines a central recess, a right side recess, and a left side recess. The central recess houses a central wiping which is held by a central frame. Side drying pads are also mounted within side recesses. A disinfecting liquid reservoir is removably mounted to the base. A manual liquid pump is coupled to the liquid reservoir and to nozzles positioned to direct a spray of liquid onto the central pad.

  • Patent number: 9550102
Abstract: A system includes a tackle training apparatus that comprises a cylindrical structure. The cylindrical structure comprises at least one recessed portion in a curved surface of the cylindrical surface. Each recessed portion of the at least one recessed portion corresponds to a security strap. The system comprises placing a first flat surface of the cylindrical structure on a playing surface of a practice field, wherein the cylindrical structure stands upright upon the playing surface. The system comprises placing a ball in a recessed portion of at the least one recessed portion, wherein the recessed portion and a corresponding securing strap secure the ball to the tackle training apparatus. The system includes a player approaching the cylindrical structure in a tackling disposition, wherein the player targets the ball with a facemask portion of a helmet worn by the player.
