  • Patent number: 9294559
Abstract: Communication element (E2) comprising at least one interface with a communication network (NTEL) containing other communication elements (E1), and a peer-to-peer network (Np2p) for processing requests (Req) from the other communication elements, consisting of nodes (N1, N2, N3, N4, N5) distributed among a set of processing devices and arranged in a circle. It is associated with a management device comprising admission means to insert a new node within the peer-to-peer network. The communication element is intended so that contextual information used for processing said requests can be stored in the nodes and is characterized in that the admission means are intended to determine a pair of adjacent nodes deployed on a same processing device and to insert the new node between the two nodes of the pair.

  • Patent number: 8682976
Abstract: A peer-to-peer network including a set of nodes distributed among a set of processing devices and arranged in a circular form in such a way that each node has a unique successor node. Each node has a memory to store data associated with keys and, on reception of a request containing a key, provides data associated with the key. Each data item stored in the memory of a first node is duplicated in the memory of a second node, different from said first node. The second node is chosen from among the nodes deployed on the set of processing devices different from the processing device on which the first node is deployed.

  • Patent number: 8676950
Abstract: A method for restarting a set of nodes forming a peer-to-peer network. The method includes determining a first node of the set of nodes to be restarted and a subset of nodes known to the first node. Each node in the set of nodes to be restarted, prior to restarting, is configured to select a node and transmitting a message to the known nodes, containing an identifier of the selected node. Upon receiving the message, each known node is configured to back up duplicate sessions by determining sessions duplicated between the known node and the node in the set of nodes to be restarted and duplicating the sessions determined to be duplicate and verifying whether the known node is the next node, based on the message's content, and if the known node is the next node selecting the known node as a next node to be restarted.

  • Publication number: 20120096179
Abstract: A device (D) is devoted to processing initial SIP requests for an end-processing software module (B1), hereafter known as a backend and belonging to a SIP cluster operating for an application within a communication network (R).

  • Publication number: 20110167143
Abstract: Method for restarting a peer-to-peer network formed of a set of nodes It comprises a step of determining a first node to be restarted and a set of nodes known to it; wherein each node to be restarted implements, prior to restarting: a step of electing a node from among the known nodes, a step of transmitting a message to the known nodes, containing an identifier of the next node (elected during the previous step); and upon receiving the message, each node implements: a step of backing up duplicate sessions, consisting of determining duplicate sessions between that node and the node to be restarted, and of duplicating them again, a step of verifying whether that node is the next node, based on the message's content, and if so to consider the node in question as a node to be restarted.

  • Publication number: 20080080515
Abstract: Communication system (S) able to exchange SIP signaling messages, with a communication network (N), containing multiple servers (S1, S2, S3 . . . Sn) to handle incoming messages (ms) and generate outgoing messages and a load distribution device (LB) to route an incoming message to a particular server according to load distribution rules (R, Raff). The servers have means to include in the outgoing messages a marker representing at least itself, and the load distribution rules of the load distribution device contain rules (R) so that, when a marker is included in an incoming message, it can be routed to the server corresponding to the marker.
