The second relatively lower oligodynamic concentration is lower than the first relatively higher oligodynamic concentration. The second oligodynamic treatment is operable to release oligodynamic ions directly to the wound site. The first oligodynamic treatment enables the backing sheet portion to provide a reservoir of oligodynamic particles that may propagate outwardly from the bandage over time.
