  • Patent number: 10833699
Abstract: A digital to analog converter that includes a delta sigma modulator coupled to receive a digital data. The delta sigma modulator supplies a multi-bit resistor digital to analog converter (DAC). The multi-bit resistor digital to analog converter supplies an amplifier with an analog signal corresponding to the digital data. A first low pass filter is coupled between the multi-bit digital to analog converter and the amplifier stage and filters out shaped quantization noise before it reaches the amplifier. A second low pass filter is coupled to an output of the amplifier stage and filters out residual quantization noise and chopping artifacts from the amplifier stage.

  • Publication number: 20200349133
Abstract: Systems and processes disclosed herein perform an automatic remediation process. The automatic remediation process may be a log-based remediation process. Systems disclosed herein may obtain log files from an information management system and determine the occurrence of errors at the information management system based on error codes included in the logs. Further, the systems may access a knowledgebase to determine whether solutions for the errors have been previously generated. The solutions may include patches or hotfixes that can be applied to the information management system without removing user-access or stopping execution of the information management system. The systems may automatically update the information management system to address the errors. Alternatively, or in addition, the systems may alert a user, such as an administrator, of the existence of a solution to the error, and whether the solution may be applied without interrupting service or access to the information management system.

  • Patent number: 10715449
Abstract: A layer 2 load balancing system includes server devices that provide virtual machines that each share a virtual Media Access Control (MAC) address. A switch device is coupled to each of the server devices via respective ports on the switch device. The switch device receives the virtual MAC address during a time period via each of the respective ports connected to the server devices and, in response, identifies a server device cluster that shares the virtual MAC address. When the switch device receive packets that are part of a packet flow and that are directed to the virtual MAC address, it then directs each of the packets that are part of the packet flow to one of the virtual machines that is provided on one of the server devices in the server device cluster.

  • Publication number: 20200193802
Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting a system malfunction in a surveillance system are provided. Such systems and methods can include a camera that can detect alarm conditions in a secured area and transmit alarm notifications indicative of the alarm conditions, a server device that can receive the alarm notifications from the camera, and a processer of the server device that can compare a current number of the alarm notifications received by the server device during a first time period to a historical number of the alarm notifications received by the server device during a second time period. When the current number differs from the historical number by at least a preconfigured threshold value, the processor can initiate a display of a possible malfunction alarm.

  • Patent number: 10527502
Abstract: A temperature sensor (1) has a pressure sensor (10), the distal end of which is inserted in a sealed chamber (2) filled with a liquid. The pressure sensor has a light guide (4), a cavity (14) at a distal end of the light guide, a diaphragm (11) forming a wall of the cavity and being configured to deflect with applied pressure, and a detector to detect changes in light reflection due to deflection of the diaphragm. The liquid (3) which changes volume in response to temperature changes and this volume change is sufficient to change the pressure applied on the diaphragm (11), and the a interrogation system processes pressure data and/or light reflection data to generate an output indicating temperature of the fluid in the chamber.
