  • Publication number: 20250149906
Abstract: A system and method for detecting the degradation of a storage battery of a battery energy storage system (BESS) container includes a battery management system (BMS) coupled to the storage battery configured to collect battery operational data from the storage battery. A battery data repository coupled to the BMS receives and stores the battery operational data. A learning agent coupled to the battery data repository uses the stored battery operational data to estimate a prognostic degradation of the storage battery and train a degradation estimation model. A state of charge (SOC) estimation agent receives and uses the trained degradation estimation model to generate a real-time estimate of the SOC of the storage battery for scheduling charge/discharge cycles for the BESS container.

  • Publication number: 20250148438
Abstract: A network-based service creates a smart contract on a blockchain on behalf of a user who has a loan or a subscription that requires installment payments be collected by a provider from the user and provided to creditor of the loan or subscription. The smart contract associates a default account of the user with a first access token and non-default registered other accounts of the user with a second access token. The smart contract when presented with the access tokens from a provider determines whether the payment due can be satisfied from a current balance of the default account and if so, transfers the payment from the default account to the provider. If the default lacks sufficient funds for the payment, the smart contract proportions the amounts taken from each of the accounts to reach the amount due and transfers the amount due to the provider.

  • Patent number: 12293110
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to improved techniques for managing a data storage device (DSD) pool, and in particular the selecting of DSDs based on commands distribution and latencies among the command queues in the DSDs. In some aspects, a DSD may have multiple queues that enable the DSD to perform certain commands (e.g., write commands and/or read commands) in parallel. Thus, such DSD has various head-of-line blocking latencies based on which queue the command is directed to. A storage management device can reduce the command latency of the DSDs, for example, based on queue information (e.g., head-of-line blocking, parallel queue utilization, etc.) learned from the DSDs.

  • Publication number: 20250117274
Abstract: In conventional networked computing systems, stream-processing software is utilized to handle real-time data feeds. For example, a stream-processing software may sort incoming data feeds into data logs, which are then consumed by various application servers within the computing system. However, this consumption process is susceptible to failure as application servers often fail to consume a full payload of data comprising a particular message. As such, a need exists for a streaming architecture with improved fault tolerance. The system provided herein solves the problem via a reliable streaming process, which regularly generates partitions within a series of data lakes. As streaming data is received, the payloads are synced into the different data lakes based on metadata associated with the streaming data. The system can then perform individual quality checks on each partition of data, enabling the system to continuously monitor data quality over time.

  • Publication number: 20250117265
Abstract: Example methods and systems for dynamic site selection in a global server load balancer (GSLB) environment are described. In one example, a computer system may obtain first health information from a first entity and second health information from a second entity. The first health information may be generated based on multiple first traffic flows between (a) multiple first client devices and (b) a first pool of backend servers. The second health information may be generated based on multiple second traffic flows between (a) multiple second client devices and (b) a second pool of backend servers. In response to receiving a request to access the service, the computer may select a selected site based on the first health information and/or second health information. A response may be generated and sent to cause a third client device to access the service by directing a third traffic flow towards the selected site.

  • Publication number: 20250119418
Abstract: Example methods and systems for connection establishment in a global server load balancer (GSLB) environment are described. In one example, a computer system may establish a first connection with a first entity and a second connection with the second entity. The first connection may be established based on first parameter information that includes a shared certificate and a first identifier (ID). The second connection may be established based on second parameter information that includes the shared certificate and a second ID. The shared certificate may be shared by multiple entities that include the first entity and a second entity. In response to receiving a first request, a first response may be generated and sent towards the first entity via the first connection. In response to receiving a second request, a second response may be generated and sent towards the second entity via the second connection.

  • Patent number: 12242386
Abstract: Various devices, such as storage devices or systems are configured to efficiently process and update logical mappings within control table sets. Control table sets are often groupings of logical mapping corresponding to the logical locations of data requested by a host-computing device and the physical locations of the data within the memory array. As data is written and erased, these mappings must be updated within the control table set. Received changes to these mappings are typically stored and updated in two locations: a cache memory and a control table update list. By tracking and marking various control table sets as dirty or having undergone multiple changes, additional received updates can be stored and updated in only the cache memory, bypassing the second control table change list. By only utilizing one method of updating control table sets, processing overhead is reduced and various read or write activities are more efficiently done.
