Patent number: 12537440Abstract: The invention discloses systems (100) and methods (200, 300) for reducing the effect of even-order harmonics in supply voltage on the DC side components in AC-DC converters having any kind of controlled power electronic switches or their combinations. The method involves modifying the time of firing the various switches (112, 114) through a control logic arrives at through either measuring or estimating the DC bus voltage or the input AC voltage. The proposed control methods are useful in ASDs where full bridge configuration is used for AC to DC conversion. The proposed control may also be used in ASDs where a half bridge rectifier system is used. The proposed method reduces the stress on the DC bus capacitor and increases the lifetime of the capacitor. It further reduces the peak current through the device, which reduces stress on the rectifier components. It also reduces the Total Harmonic Distortion (THDi) of the line current.Type: GrantFiled: October 3, 2022Date of Patent: January 27, 2026Assignees: DANFOSS POWER ELECTRONICS A/S, INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, MADRASInventors: Seshadri Gopalan, Dinesh Kumar, Krishna Vasudevan

Patent number: 12405988Abstract: A computing system identifies a heterogenous multi-entity graph user graph for a user based upon an identifier for the user. The user graph includes nodes and edges connecting the nodes. The nodes include topic nodes representing topics and entity nodes. The entity nodes represent people associated with the user, documents of the user, or derived information that is derived from the documents. The computing system identifies a cluster of the topic nodes corresponding to a productivity area of the user and performs a walk of the user graph based upon the subset of the topic nodes to identify a subset of the people, the documents, and the derived information. Publication number: 20240419417Abstract: According to a technique of code development, a plurality of subsystem power profiles for a corresponding plurality of subsystems of a host platform in a production data processing environment are received. Each of the subsystem power profiles specifies power consumption of a corresponding one of the plurality of subsystems across a range of workload traffic intensities. Based on the plurality of power profiles, source code and/or software architecture of the source code is power-optimized in a development data processing environment such that, in the production data processing environment, power consumption per unit of performance of an executable program derived from the source code is improved.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 14, 2023Publication date: December 19, 2024Inventors: Dinesh Kumar, Colleen Ann Weller, Margaret Annabelle Allen, Addison Daniel Ferrari, Gary A. Patent number: 12160373Abstract: A first forwarding VM may execute in a first availability zone and have a first IP address. Similarly, a second forwarding VM may execute in a second availability zone and have a second IP address. The first and second IP addresses may be recorded with a cloud DNS web service of a cloud provider such that both receive requests from applications directed to a particular DNS name acting as a single endpoint. A service cluster may include a master VM node and a standby VM node. An IPtable in each forwarding VM may forward a request having a port value to a cluster port value associated with the master VM node. Upon a failure of the master VM node, the current standby VM node may be promoted to execute in master mode and the IPtables may be updated to now forward requests having the port value to a cluster port value associated with the newly promoted master VM node (which was previously the standby VM node).Type: GrantFiled: June 5, 2023Date of Patent: December 3, 2024Assignee: SAP SEInventors: Dinesh Kumar, Vinayak Jadhav, Shashank Mohan Jain

Patent number: 12101641Abstract: Techniques for asymmetric dynamic spectrum sharing are discussed herein. A first portion of spectrum can share spectrum between Long Term Evolution (LTE) and New Radio (NR) radio access technologies (RATs). A second portion of spectrum can be allocated to a particular RAT without sharing. Thus, control signals associated with both RATs can be associated with the shared portion. However, for the portion not shared, control signals for the particular RAT (e.g., NR) can be used without the control signals from the other RAT (e.g., LTE), thereby increasing capacity in the portion not shared.Type: GrantFiled: April 5, 2023Date of Patent: September 24, 2024Assignee: T-Mobile USA, Inc.Inventors: Egil Gronstad, Dinesh Kumar

Patent number: 11934541Abstract: A blockchain architecture allows blocks to store both public and private data. The public data may be accessible to any node in the blockchain network, while the private data may be accessible only to nodes specified in an access list, which may be provided when a record is added to the blockchain. When a new record is received, any private fields in the record may be identified and encrypted by a receiving node. The key may then be encrypted and sent with the protected record to other nodes in the access list. These nodes can access the encryption key, decrypt the private fields, and provide a consensus decision to a receiving node. After consensus, the protected record may be added to the blockchain, where the public fields may be freely accessed by any node, and the private fields remain accessible only to nodes in the access list.Type: GrantFiled: February 18, 2022Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Oracle International CorporationInventors: Dinesh Kumar, David Joseph Haimes, Todd Jeffery Little

Patent number: 11914630Abstract: Software architectures relating to machine learning (e.g., relating to classifying sequential text data. Unlabeled sequential text data may be produced by a variety of sources such as text messages, email messages, message chats, social media applications, and web pages. Classifying such data may be difficult due to the freeform and unlabeled nature of text data from these sources. Thus, techniques for training a machine learning algorithm to classify unlabeled text data in freeform format. Training is based on generation of labelling functions from lexical databases, applying the labelling functions to unlabeled text data in an unsupervised manner, and generating trained classifiers that accurately classify the unlabeled text data. The trained classifiers may then be implemented classify text data accessed from the variety of sources. The present techniques provide high-quality and efficient labeling of unlabeled text data in freeform formats.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2021Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: PayPal, Inc.Inventors: Yang Wu, Jiadi Xiong, Yaqin Yang, Dinesh Kumar
