Abstract: A directional coupler and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. According to an embodiment, the directional coupler comprises a first transmission line configured to receive an input signal. The directional coupler further comprises a second transmission line that can be coupled to the first transmission line by electromagnetic coupling to output a coupled signal. The first transmission line is further configured to act as a quarter-wave impedance transformer. A radio transmitter comprising the directional coupler and a radio device comprising the radio transmitter are also disclosed.

Abstract: The method is applied to a communications system including a first network device, a second network device, and a terminal device. The terminal device is communicatively connected to the first network device and the second network device respectively. The method includes: sending, by a network device, a first message to the terminal device, where the first message is used to determine that the terminal device stops communication with the first network device, or the first message is used to determine that the terminal device releases a protocol stack and a data radio bearer that are corresponding to the first network device; and the network device is the first network device or the second network device. Therefore, power consumption of the terminal device or the first network device and waste of air interface resources can be reduced, and flexibility can effectively be improved in a communication process.

Abstract: A graphene adsorbing material, a preparation method therefor and application thereof, and a cigarette filter tip and a cigarette are provided. The graphene adsorbing material comprises a fiber carrier, graphene and doped elements wherein the graphene and the doped elements are loaded on the fiber carrier and the doped elements comprise at least one of Al, Si and Fe. The graphene adsorbing material is obtained by contacting the fibers with the graphene material to load the graphene material on the fibers. By introducing the graphene and the doped elements in the fiber carrier, harmful substances with a type of fused aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzopyrene in smoke can be specifically adsorbed, filtered and removed; while nicotine and the other harmless substances are retained, and thus the smoking taste of a cigarette is not affected.

Abstract: In implementations of the subject matter described herein, a new approach for transferring content between applications is proposed. Generally speaking, in operation, a user can select an area on a user interface in order to cover content that the user wants to transfer. In response, the type of the content in the selected area will be identified. One or more options are then provided on the user interface based on the identified type, and each option may link to one or more applications. Upon a user's selection of an option, an application associated with the selected option is launched to process the content. In this way, the content can be effectively and efficiently processed across different applications, which will significantly improve the processing efficiency and user experience.

The method includes parsing a picture file, to obtain a picture header information data segment, first stream data, and second stream data of a first image thereof. The first stream data of the first image is decoded to generate red-green-blue (RGB) data of the first image. The second stream data of the first image is decoded to generate Alpha data of the first image. Red-green-blue-alpha (RGBA) data corresponding to the first image are generated according to the RGB data and the Alpha data.

Abstract: A computer system is provided. The computer system includes a memory and at least one processor coupled to the memory and configured to detect open eyes in an image received from a camera of the computer; recognize properties of the open eyes including orientation, designation as a left or right eye, and relative position of the eyes; group the detected open eyes into pairs of eyes based on the recognized properties; measure pupillary distance (e.g. represented in image pixels) of each of the pairs of eyes; identify the pair of eyes associated with the largest pupillary distance as the eyes closest to the camera; calculate a relative distance from the camera to the closest pair of eyes, the relative distance calculated as a ratio of the camera focal length to the largest pupillary distance; and reduce brightness of the computer screen if the relative distance is less than a threshold ratio.

Abstract: Methods that can offload data operations to a storage system are provided. One method includes performing, by a processor, a set of non-storage operations at a storage system for data stored in a set of storage devices on the storage system to generate a set of results, in which the storage system is separate from a client device that owns the data, and transmitting the result(s) to the client device that owns the data. Apparatus, systems, and computer program products that can include, perform, and/or implement the methods are also disclosed herein.
